UPSC Prelims 2020 results announced, check results on upsc.gov.in

The results for UPSC Preliminary Examination 2020 for Civil Services and Indian Forest Services have been declared. The Detailed Application Form (DAF-I) for Civil Services (Main) Examination has been rolled out.

Close to 10.58 lakh candidates registered for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Examination held on October 4, 2020. Candidates who appeared for the exam rated it as difficult and mentioned that the paper followed the pattern of prelims of previous years.

Steps to check UPSC Prelims 2020 results

In order to download result cards, candidates need to:

• Open the UPSC’s official website for results at https://upsconline.nic.in/
• On the page, hit the link Results of CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION), 2020
• Click on the desired tab 
• For Civil Services (Preliminary) examination results are directly available at https://upsconline.nic.in/WR-CSP-20-231020-Engl-F.pdf 
• For Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) examination results directly available at https://upsconline.nic.in/WR-IFSP-20-231020-Engl-F.pdf
•  Scroll through the roll number list shortlisted for the main examination
• Alternatively, candidates can search for their roll numbers using the 'Find' option or scroll through the list.

UPSC Mains notification

Aspirants whose roll numbers are on the list indicates that they have qualified for the UPSC Mains examination 2020, scheduled on January 8, next year.

The UPSC mentioned that the Detailed Application form will be available on https://upsconline.nic.in from October 28 to November 11 till 6:00 PM. As per UPSC’s statement, the e-admit cards along with the time table of the said examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s website for the eligible candidates, three-four weeks before the examination.

Candidates may obtain clarifications regarding their result, in person at the facilitation counter near the examination hall building in its campus at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road on all working days between 10 AM to 5 PM.
