Indorama Ventures and Dhunseri Ventures Limited (formerly Dhunseri Petrochem Limited) (Dhunseri), each own a 50% joint venture stake in IVL Dhunseri Petrochem Industries Private Limited (IDPIPL) in India. In December 2017, Micro Polypet Private Limited (MPPL) has been merged with IDPIPL. Presently, IDPIPL is the second-largest PET resin producer in India. It has two PET resin plants in Haldia (a port town in West Bengal) with an effective capacity of 4,80,000 TPA and one PET resin plant in District Karnal in the State of Haryana with an effective capacity of 2,16,000 TPA. The joint venture gains advantages from substantial synergies with all the manufacturing sites effectively integrated with third-party PTA suppliers. Our global market reach and high utilization rates supplement Haldia’s location at East India’s largest port.

Product Portfolio:

Offering a wide range of petrochemicals products, the group of products are Feedstock, PET, Packaging, Fibers and Recycled products.

• Feedstock - We integrated backwards to produce the upstream materials for the production of PET and Polyester. The advantage of having an internal supply of raw materials is that we can maintain both their efficiency and cost philosophy.
• PET - As a leading manufacturer of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), we offer products in different grades, including hot-fill, high and low intrinsic viscosity, quick heat and general grade, and much more.
• Packaging - To support a variety of customers’ requirements, we offer raw materials for food and beverage containers and other consumables. Our products comprise PET molding bottles (preform), bottle caps and bottles.
• Fibers - Our polyester and other types of fibers and yarns are used in the Automotive and Technical, Home and Apparel, and Hygiene and Medical segments.
• Recycled Products - We cater to our customers preferences and proactively address environmental issues. Our recycled products are bottle flakes, recycled PET or rPET, and recycled fibers.
• Wool - Before entering the chemical industry, we began our first business in premium worsted wool yarns, using best-in-class machinery and the latest technology.
