IIT Bhubaneswar, a pioneer in the elite institutions that has highly focused on research, and has provided students every platform where opportunities were plenty, be it in sports or projects or anything else one wishes to pursue, presents the 13th edition of Alma Fiesta, it's much awaited socio-cultural Fest. The journey started on 26th -28th March 2010 and Alma has grown bigger and better every year since then. Alma Fiesta marks days of absolute ecstasy, providing the artists a platform in diverse fields such as music, dance, theatre, photography, literature, fine arts, quizzing, debating and a lot more. It is an avenue to be comforted from the routine life and to embrace the fun and frolic embedded with tantalizing professional performances from India and abroad along with an address to the social responsibility with its underlying social theme, "Divyangjan Sashaktikaran - Agyanta Hi Ek Matra Viklangta Hai". Apart from competitive events and illuminating talks it hosts some amazing performances by artists of international standings like Gajendra Verma, Agnee, Indian Ocean, Ira Trivedi, Krishna Beura, Ganesh Talkies, and many more, which mesmerise the strong footfall it receives every year. Each year it grows in scope to reflect the changing cultural landscape of society, but the only constant is that it remains the three best days of the year for everyone who is part of it. From the academic year 2015, all the students of IIT Bhubaneswar have shifted to its permanent campus at Argul. Endless opportunities await team Alma, which has performed way better than it's expectation since then. The present team of Alma Fiesta is more than ready to take Alma Fiesta to unmatched heights.
