ABInBev 100+ Challenge 2024: Stages and Timelines
Virtual Launch Event and Case Study Reveal
ABInBev’s teams will come together to launch the Competition. The case study reveal will be done on Friday, 16th August 2024 on Unstop’s YouTube Channel & ABI’s socials (LinkedIn, Instagram)
Round 1 - Culture and Logical Reasoning Assessment
Registered teams will have to take culture and logical reasoning assessment. Students will be shortlisted based on this round. Our cultural assessment will be based on 10 principles of ABInBev which form the foundation of what we do at ABInBev.
Note: You'll receive the link to the assessment from ABInBev over email. You can reach out to ABInBev’s Talent Attraction team at talentattraction.abi.india@ab-inbev.com with any questions or need for support.
Round 2 - Submission of Case Study Analysis: Executive Summary
Registered teams will have to perform research and analysis on the case study and come up with a 3-slider summary presentation succinctly presenting the team’s solution.
Round 3: Submission of Detailed Solution
The shortlisted teams will submit their detailed solution (underlining the assumptions, approach, solution, implementation, and other deliverables mentioned in the detailed problem statement brochure). The top teams will be evaluated basis of the 10-slider + 2-min video pitch and will move to the grand finale round.
Round 4 - Grand Finale
The top 6 teams will be hosted at ABInBev India headquarters (Bengaluru) for a 15-minute presentation (8-minute presentation and 7-minute Q&A) to a jury comprising esteemed industry stalwarts and ABInBev leadership.

Eligibility & Team Rules:
- This competition is open to final and pre-final year full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students across select institutes
- Students must register in teams of 2 or 3 members
- The participating students can be from any specialization
- A student can be a part of only one team
- Cross-year and cross-specialization teams are eligible
- Cross-College Teams are not eligible
- Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team

Stages:
Round 1: Culture and Logical Reasoning Assessment
- All registered teams will have to take an online assessment
- It is mandatory for all team members to attempt the assessment round
- It is an eliminatory round
Round 2: Submission of Case Study Analysis
- Shortlisted teams will have to perform research and analysis on the case study and come up with a 3-slider summary presentation succinctly presenting the team’s solution
- Teams will be able to make changes to the submissions until the deadline is over
- Cover Page and Thank you slides are not included in the main slides
- Participating teams in this level will move on to the next round on the basis of their performance
- All the teams are requested to submit their entries a few hours before the deadline to avoid any last-minute hassle
Round 3: Submission of Detailed Solution
- Shortlisted teams will have to perform research and analysis on the case study and come up with a 10-slider (PDF format) underlining the assumptions, approach, solution, implementation, & other deliverables mentioned in the detailed problem statement brochure
- Along with the detailed presentation, the shortlisted teams have to submit a 2-minute video pitch (MP4 format) for their solution explaining their approach and the implementation followed for their solution
- Teams will be able to make changes to the submissions until the deadline is over
- All the teams are requested to submit their entries a few hours before the deadline to avoid any last-minute hassle
- Shortlisted teams will then move forward to the Grand Finale
Mentorship by ABInBev Leaders
- Shortlisted teams from Round 3 will be coached and guided by ABInBev leaders for the Grand Finale.
- This is a great opportunity for teams to get some expert guidance on any roadblocks they may be facing or simply to just gain some confidence by pitching to ABInBev leaders.
Round 4: Grand Finale
- The top 6 teams will be hosted in ABInBev India Headquarters for a 15-minute presentation (8-minute presentation and 7-minute Q&A) to a jury comprising esteemed industry stalwarts and ABInBev leaders.
Rewards and Prizes:
Attractive prizes are to be won along with PPI opportunities, an opportunity to attend ABInBev-sponsored fests in India and lots of ABInBev merchandise.
- Grand Finale Winner: The Grand Finale Winner will be rewarded prizes worth INR 5,00,000
- 1st Runner-Up: The 1st Runner-Up will be rewarded prizes worth INR 3,00,000
- 2nd Runner-Up: The 2nd Runner-Up will be rewarded prizes worth INR 2,00,000
- PPIs: Selected students will also get an opportunity to bag pre-placement interviews (PPIs) from ABInBev

Key Persons:
- Michel Doukeris (CEO): He is ABInBev's CEO since 1 July 2021. Born in 1973, he is a Brazilian citizen and holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil and a Master's Degree in Marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas, also in Brazil. Mr. Doukeris joined ABInBev in 1996 and held a number of commercial operations roles in Latin America before moving to Asia.
