AdTract

About the event:

AdTract is an event by the Mercatus Mantra, the Marketing club of IMT Hyderabad, AdTract brings to you the perfect platform to create and market unique ideas and products. The event has two stages for any participating team to win the competition.

The event has two stages for any participating team to clear. The first preliminary round will examine the teams on their capabilities to design a sharp print advertisement to brand a product provided by us. The shortlisted teams will be given a set of bundled products originating from various segments to create a single communication on a single medium (TVC, Print, Radio et. el.).

The motive is to make the bundle attractive and distinctly positioned. The last and final round will invite top 5 teams to our campus for the ultimate face off. In this round a real life management problem will be given to the finalists by the marketing team of sponsoring brand of the event. Teams should design a 360-degree integrated marketing communication strategy for the brand to get bailed out of the problems.

Online Preliminary Round: The registered teams must prepare a print ad and a video/audio clip, marketing the bundled products. The list of the products will be given by us. All the products need to be marketed in a single format- as one.

The print ads and the video/audio clips on the theme provided by us should be mailed to mercatusmantra@imthyderabad.edu.in

Products for the preliminary round:

Google Pixel & Patanjali line of products

They will be judged based on their creativity and format.

This is an elimination round.

The shortlisted teams will be communicated the details further.

 

Level II: (Event date:3rd December,2016, Day -2 Impelz)

 

On-Campus Finale:

Qualifying teams will compete against each other in ‘AdTract’, creating a complete 360 degree Integrated MarComm strategy for the brand.

The information regarding name, history and current standing of the company will be provided by us.

The company is not fictitious and the participants will be judged by the representatives from the company.

The winner of this round will be declared the ‘AdTract Guru’.

 

Rules:

-The two rounds are differently judged.

-Winner will be declared based on round 2.

-Round 2 will take place in IMT Hyderabad campus.

-All materials shall be provided by the organizing team.

-Each team will comprise of 2-4 members.

-All participants in a team should be from the same college.

-A participant can be a part of one team only.

-The decision of the judges will be final and binding on all the participants.

 

Prize Money:

Winners: Rs.45,000/-

Runners Up: Rs.20, 000/-
