Aghaaz

Each one of us can make a difference, together we make a change. Aghaaz is such a medium where we make changes by searching solutions for to problems, together with people who have the passion to serve. It gives you a platform to make an impact on the lives of people who need upliftment and provide sustainable solutions to societal problems. If making the world a bit better by doing a bit for your society makes you happy, then this event is for you.

Rounds:

Round 0: Case-let Submission:

• Participating teams will be given a case-let revolving around a social issue
• The submission must be made in the form of a PDF
• The solution should not contain more than 2 pages (excluding the Introduction and Thank You slide)
• Submission to be made by Team Leader
• This will be an elimination round
• The last date of submission is 5th December 2022
• Details of further rounds will be communicated to the qualifying teams

Round 1: Case Study Submission:

• Qualifying teams will be given a case study and will have to submit the solution in the form of a PPT
• The presentation should not contain more than 10 slides (Including the Introduction and Thank You slide) and the last date of submission is 9th December 2022

Round 2: Case Study Presentation:

• Shortlisted teams will present their 5-7 slider presentation (Excluding Introduction and Thank you slides) and their recommendations to the judges on an online platform.
• The time allotted for each presentation will be 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A session by the judges.
• Presentations submitted in Round 1 will be used for the final presentation. No alterations to the deliverables would be allowed post-submission.
• Participants should not use the name or logo of their institute in any deliverable.

General Rules & Regulations:

• All rounds will be held online 
• Each team consists of 1-3 members
• Registration starts on 27th November 2022 and ends on 1st December 2022 
• All team members should be from the same institute
• Team members can be either from the first year, second year, or a combination of both
• All specializations of MBA are eligible
• No participant can be a part of more than one team for the same event
• Multiple registrations by the same participant will lead to disqualification
• Teams should register with a name that does not reflect the name of their B-School or the city where the college is located
• In case of any dispute, the decision of judges and the organizing committee at IMT Ghaziabad will be final
