All that you need to know about Technical Paper Presentation
The Paper Presentation competition planned is a ‘non-publication’ based presentation.
Participants will have the opportunity to submit abstracts detailing their research for consideration. Upon acceptance, selected presenters will deliver their presentations at the competition. The judging panel would consist of our student section’s faculty advisor, faculty members from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and an ASME HQ member to chair the event.
Guidelines:
- Attendees are welcome from diverse educational backgrounds, including those enrolled in a Bachelor's (B.Tech), postgraduate, or Ph.D. program.
Topics:
- Evolution of Robotics and automation
- Renewable energy technology
- Strategies for Environmental sustainability
- Exploring Evolving Paradigms in Human-Machine Interaction
- Space Exploration and Aerospace Technologies
- Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology
- Innovations in medical devices
Rules:
- The allocated time for each presentation is 10 minutes, comprising an 8-minute presentation and 2 minutes for discussion. (The timing for the presentation might vary depending on the number of accepted presentations)
- The abstract submission is limited to 300 words, and the submitted paper must maintain a plagiarism rate below 20%.
- The submitted abstracts would undergo a shortlisting process based on a panel of judges composed of faculty members from our department, and the selected presentations would be opened for manuscript submission.
