Eligibility
- Eligibility for Participation: All students possessing a valid identity card from their respective educational institute are eligible to participate.
- Certificate of Excellence: The top two teams in each competition category will be awarded a Certificate of Excellence and respective prize(s).
- Certificate of Participation: All teams that qualify for Round 1 will receive a Certificate of Participation.
- Disqualification: Teams that are disqualified at any stage will not be eligible for any certificates.
Scoring Criteria
Points will be awarded based on:
- Aggression: Frequency and effectiveness of attacks.
- Control: Ability to attack opponents effectively while minimizing damage.
- Damage: Direct or indirect reduction of opponent functionality.
- Strategy: Combat plans that exploit strengths and weaknesses.
Team Specifications
- Team Size: Maximum of 6 members.
- Team Composition: All members must be from the same educational institute.
- Team Name: Unique names required; offensive names may be rejected.
- Team ID: Each team will receive a unique ID for communication.
Portfolio Submission
- Requirements: Comprehensive portfolio including a written abstract, images, CAD models, or videos of the robot.
- Submission Format: Must adhere to specified format; late submissions will not be considered.
- Eligibility: Only teams that clear the shortlisting process will participate.
Gameplay Structure
- Match Duration: Each match lasts for 2 minutes.
- Arena Regulations: Robots must not damage the arena; penalties apply for violations.
- Knock-out Format: Robots must demonstrate linear motion within 30 seconds to avoid being knocked out.
Bot Dimensions and Fabrication
- Size Restrictions:- No limitations on the dimensions of the robot(s).
- Weight Category :- 8 kg (with a tolerance of ±5%)
- Onboard Components and Weight Calculation :-
- Pneumatic tanks and batteries must be part of the robot's onboard structure.
- The weight of the remote control system is not included in the total weight calculation.
- The weight of the battery is included in the total weight of the robot.
Weapon Systems
- Permissible Weapons: Includes cutters, flippers, saws, lifting devices, and spinning hammers.
- Prohibited Weapons: Includes liquid projectiles, flame-based weapons, explosives, and entanglement devices.
- Weapon Safety: Spinning weapons must cease spinning within 60 seconds of power loss.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Fluid Requirements: Only non-flammable and non-corrosive fluids allowed.
- Pressure Limitations: Maximum permissible pressure is 50 bars.
- Component Security: All components must be securely mounted.
Mobility
- Permitted Mobility Methods: Rolling and walking mechanisms are allowed.
- Prohibited Mobility Methods: Flying mechanisms and uncontrolled aerial maneuvers are not allowed.
Robot Control Requirements
- Control Type: Only wireless remote controls are allowed.
- Emergency Stop: Must include an emergency stop system.
Design Specifications
- Power Source: Robots must be powered solely by electricity.
- Battery Requirements: Sealed, immobilized-electrolyte batteries are required.
Arena Specifications
- Dimensions : 12ft x 12ft x 6ft (l x b x h).
- Safety Precautions: The arena is protected by bulletproof polycarbonate walls of 10mm thickness at four sides (excluding the top).
- The top is protected by a 6mm bulletproof polycarbonate sheet.
- Arena Diagram: The out-to-out dimension of the arena will be 12ft x 12ft x 6ft (l x b x h). As well as the arena might be functional. The arena size is also subject to the infrastructure. Polycarbonate thickness may be increased.
Important Notes
- Final Authority: Decisions made by organizers and judges are final.
- Misconduct & Violations: Immediate disqualification for rule violations.
