All that you need to know about Biz Bay Case Competition
Event Details:
- Case Comp is a Case Study Competition, organized by ISTE NITK during Incident Fest 2026.
- The final round of the competition will be conducted on March 15,2026.
- There is a registration fee of Rs. 200 per team.
- The event structure will be offline, at NITK Surathkal.
- The competition aims to test participants on structured problem solving, business analysis, decisionmaking, and presentation skills using realworld case scenarios.
Event Timeline & Flow:
- February 16: Competition goes live on Unstop (registrations open)
- March 9 : Registration deadline
- March 15: Offline final round during Incident Fest. (8 slides submission)
Final Ranking:
- Final rankings will be based on cumulative judge scores during the offline presentation round.
- In case of tie:
- Higher score in problem diagnosis and financial justification will take precedence.
- All decisions made by the judging panel and organizing committee are final and binding.
Prizes:
- Total Prize Pool: ₹40,000
1st → ₹20,0002nd → ₹100003rd → ₹5,0004th → ₹30005th → ₹2000 - Certificates will be awarded to finalists and winners.
Code of Conduct & General Rules:
- Each team must submit original work.
- Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
- Teams must adhere to submission deadlines strictly.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Any form of collusion, academic misconduct, or misrepresentation will result in disqualification.
- Judges’ decisions are final and non-negotiable.
