About:

  • Having been launched by Dr. Ajay Chhibber, Maj. Gen. Anil Verma, Late Shri Arun Jaitley, Dr. Bibek Debroy, Dr. Viral Acharya, and Executive Directors at Reserve Bank of India, Artha is one of the most awaited undergraduate research journals.
  • Starring riveting discussions and insightful articles, it has been a testament to the legacy of The Economics Society and the harbinger of the discourse we seek to stimulate.
  • Every year, Artha aims to enrich the reader’s knowledge about current affairs while simultaneously encouraging them to see the world from a unique perspective. With a variety of articles across a range of topics, like Economics, Finance, Politics, Philosophy, and International Relations, Artha seeks to act as a platform for the manifestation of thought.

Theme:

  • We invite research papers and articles written on various themes related to the discipline of economics and its intersection with finance, policy, and the global economy for Artha.
  • The submissions can be focused on making an original contribution to the existing body of knowledge through qualitative or quantitative investigation or developing a new theory.

General Instructions:

  • Please take note of the word limit(s) -
    • For research articles: 1500-2500 words
    • For research papers: 3000-5000 words
  • Please ensure that the font size and style is 12 pt Times New Roman. The alignment of the text should be justified. The margins should be 1 inch on each side.
  • Citations must be in APA style, with in-text footnotes wherever necessary. Figures, diagrams, graphs if any must be numbered clearly. Additional calculations can be included in the appendix if required.
  • Plagiarism is to be avoided. However, the maximum permissible limit is 10%. An abstract of 150-300 words must precede the paper.
  • The structure of the research paper can include but not be limited to the following sections: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methodology, Results/Discussions, Conclusions, and Bibliography.
  • Submissions must be exclusive to Artha and should not have been published or submitted elsewhere.
