Round 1: Quiz Quest (Quiz Round)
The initial phase will assess participants' reasoning, analysis, and logical thinking abilities. This segment will be graded according to how quickly and accurately participants respond, and it will also serve as an elimination round. The “Play” button here will be seen once the round is live, wherein teams would have to solve a series of 25 questions within the time limit of 20 minutes.
Orientation and Case release
Join us for an essential Orientation Round that will cover important guidelines and key information about the upcoming case competition. This session will include: Competition Structure & Guidelines, Key Dates & Milestones, Preparation Tips for Success followed by a webinar in collaboration with Masters' Union, where industry experts will share strategies and insights on how to excel in case competitions. Round 2: Ace the Case (Case Submission)
Qualifying teams from Round 1 will receive the case on their mails and will be required to create a 5-slider case presentation (excluding introduction, thank you, and appendix slides) in PDF format for the given case problem. The teams will be evaluated based on practicality, innovation, and originality criteria. This will be a submission round! Once the round is live, you will see the “Submit” button here.
Round 3: Strategy Showdown (Final Presentation: Online)
The top qualifying teams from Round 2 will be required to present their solutions to an esteemed panel of judges, out of which the chosen teams will be declared winners!

180DC SGGSCC proudly presents Case-ette 6.0!
Case-ette is 180 Degrees Consulting's annual flagship competition, hosted by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce. Participants showcase their creativity and compete to formulate the best strategies for a given problem statement. The event will be online and focus on strategic skills and management in a complex, real-life business environment. Compete, innovate, and win big in the ultimate test of strategic acumen!
Format for Case-ette:
- Case-ette 2025 is the sixth edition of 180 Degrees Consulting, SGGSCC’s case study competition powered by Masters' Union
- It would be conducted in 3 rounds
- The first round will be eliminative in nature, and your problem-solving, analytical, and ideation skills will be tested
- In the second round of the competition, candidates must provide innovative and practical solutions through a presentation
- In the last and final round, shortlisted candidates must present their solutions to an esteemed panel of judges from industry-leading companies
- The top-performing teams will be adjudicated as the winners of Case-ette 2025 on our Instagram handle within 24 hours after our final presentation round
Eligibility:
- The competition is open to students from all universities pursuing any course/degree
- The participating students can be from any specialization
- The maximum team size allowed is 4 members
- Lone wolves are welcome
- Cross-college teams are permitted
- One person cannot be a member of more than one team
- Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team
Stages:
Quiz:
- Participants have to answer 25 questions in 20 minutes
- This will be an eliminator round
- The quiz will be uploaded to the Unstop portal
- The quiz and case study will be based on themes including consulting case problems, aptitude, analytics, economics, etc.
- Every team will get a window of 6 hours to submit the form
- Date: 4th September, 2025
- Time: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- All qualifying teams would be informed through their registered e-mail IDs
Orientation and Case release:
- Get clarity on how the competition will be conducted, evaluation parameters, and participation rules
- Learn how to approach a case competition effectively and maximize your performance
- Hear from industry experts on how to ace case competitions with real-world strategies and insights
- Clear your doubts live and get guidance from organizers and experts
- The session is mandatory for all participants

Case Submission:
- Shortlisted teams from the prelims round will qualify to move further in the case competition.
- Teams selected in this round will be given a detailed case that tests their problem-solving skills, business acumen, analytical skills, and knowledge across various domains, such as marketing, finance, operations, and strategy
- Teams are expected to submit the solutions in PDF format, with the file name [TeamName]_CasetteR2, and mail them to events.sggscc@180dc.org or submit their solution on unstop itself within the stipulated time
- Teams will have access to only the case; all assumptions and sources must be stated and justified
Presentation:
- Shortlisted teams from the second rounds will be informed on their registered email
- The teams will be asked to present their case solution to a panel of judges of experienced industry professionals and alumni of reputed B-schools
- Each shortlisted team will be allotted a time at which they will be required to join the given Google Meet and present their solution
- During the final round, teams will be expected to screen share their PPTs sent, followed by a Q&A round
- The presentation will be 7 minutes, and the Q&A round will be 5 minutes
