Event Description:
- The Case Study Competition is a high-intensity business challenge designed to test participants’ analytical thinking, structured problem-solving ability, and strategic decision-making.
- Participants step into the role of consultants, tackling real-world business scenarios that demand clarity of thought, logical reasoning, and actionable recommendations.
- The competition simulates real consulting and corporate strategy workflows — diagnosing complex problems, evaluating alternatives, and presenting compelling solutions under time constraints.
- The final stage evaluates not only the strength of the solution but also the team’s ability to communicate insights, defend decisions, and demonstrate business acumen.
Who Can Participate?:
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- All academic backgrounds are welcome
- Participation in teams
Event Structure:
Round 1 – Online Aptitude & Case Distribution:
- Team Size: 1–5 Members
- Mode: Online
- Teams participate in an aptitude-based assessment testing:
- Quantitative reasoning
- Logical reasoning
- Verbal & analytical ability
- Shortlisted teams receive the case brief
Round 2 – Case Analysis & Submission:
- Shortlisted teams analyze the case and submit a structured solution covering:
- Problem diagnosis
- Key insights & assumptions
- Strategic alternatives
- Recommended solution
- Implementation roadmap
- Business/operational impact
- Evaluation Criteria: Depth of analysis, structure, feasibility, and clarity
Round 3 – Final Presentation & Jury Evaluation (On-Campus Final):
- Shortlisted teams present their solution to a judging panel, focusing on:
- Problem clarity
- Depth of analysis
- Strategic reasoning
- Feasibility & practicality
- Clarity of recommendations

- Teams will be evaluated on:
- Analytical thinking & problem understanding
- Structure and logic of the solution
- Strategic feasibility
