Catalyst'25 Case Competition: Stages and Timelines
Round 1 : Consult-O-Quest (Quiz Round)
This round is an online quiz designed to test your finance and consulting acumen. Once the quiz goes live, a play button will be displayed, allowing you to begin. You’ll have 20 minutes to tackle a series of thought-provoking questions that assess your problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Stay sharp and make every second count!
Round 2 Strategy Sprint: Decode & Design (Submission Round)
In this round, you will be given a case study and tasked with developing a comprehensive solution. Your presentation must not exceed 5 slides excluding Introduction and conclusion. It should include executive summary, case diagnosis, implementation plan etc. Focus on structuring your ideas effectively, presenting actionable insights, and making a compelling case for your approach. Think critically, craft strategically, and present with impact!
Round 3 The Boardroom Battle – Pitch, Persuade, Prevail (Presentation Round)
In this final round, it’s time to bring your ideas to life. You will get the case problem and will have to present your full fledged solution to the panel, defending your approach with clarity and confidence through online mode. The presentation should have 3 slides (Excluding Introduction & Conclusion). The pitching time is 10 mins (6-7 minutes for presentation & 3 mins for Q&A round). A strong narrative, data-backed insights, and compelling delivery will set you apart. Convince, engage, and make your mark!

Spanning three intense rounds – Consult-O-Quest, Strategy Sprint, and The Boardroom Battle – Catalyst will test your ability to analyze, strategize, and present with confidence. Rules:
- Open to all students from any discipline or institution.
- Cross-college teams are allowed.
- Each team must consist of two to three members.
- Teams must adhere to time limits and follow all instructions given by the organizers.
- Unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.
- The organizers decisions are final and binding.
- Prize money will be awarded to the top three teams.
