All that you need to know about Ventura Symposium
Ventura is the annual flagship entrepreneurship summit of DYPCOE, Akurdi, organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Incubation and Innovation Cell. The Event features over 500 startup pitches, investors, Hi-Tea session, and the signature IPL Auction game, bringing together startups, investors, and academia on a common platform to foster innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.
The event will feature thought-provoking keynote addresses, engaging panel discussions, startup showcases, and an exclusive networking arena. It aims to connect E-Cells, budding entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and industry leaders under one roof, fostering meaningful collaborations and the exchange of ideas.
Event:
Ventura Sypmosium: An elevator pitch is a brief and impactful presentation of your idea or startup, It highlights the problem you are solving, your solution, and why it is unique or valuable. It is commonly used when speaking to potential investors, mentors, or collaborators.
Participation Guidelines:
- Presentations must adhere to the prescribed time limit; excess time may impact scoring.
- All pitch decks and materials must be original and free from third-party intellectual property claims.
- Teams should register individually through Unstop before the deadline; changes afterward may not be accepted.
- Participants must maintain professionalism and decorum; failure to comply may lead to disqualification.
- Winners will be evaluated on clarity, originality, feasibility, and visual presentation quality.
Guidelines for Mentorship & Networking Session:
- The Mentorship & Networking sessions are designed to foster meaningful interactions between participants, mentors, and industry professionals.
- Participants are encouraged to prepare specific questions related to startups, careers, or business challenges to maximize the session’s value.
- Discussions should remain professional, respectful, and relevant to entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Networking opportunities must be used to build connections, not for solicitation or unrelated promotions.
- Participants are advised to exchange contact details and information responsibly, keeping confidentiality in mind.
Rules:
- Participation is open to undergraduate, postgraduate students, and all kind of startups from recognised institutions.
- Both individual and team registrations are allowed (team size as per event guidelines).
- Each participant/team must register through Unstop before the deadline; late entries will not be entertained.
- A participant can be part of only one team per competition.
- Teams must adhere to the time limits and formats prescribed for each event.
- All submissions (ideas, pitch decks, prototypes, etc.) must be original; plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
- Participants must carry valid verification ID.
- Professional behavior and discipline are mandatory throughout the event. Misconduct may lead to removal.
- The decision of the jury/organizers will be final and binding in all matters.
Legal Section:
- Organizers are not liable for technical issues, expenses, or damages during the event.
- Personal data collected will be used strictly for event-related purposes.
- Confidentiality of business ideas is not guaranteed, disclose only necessary details.
- By registering, participants agree to abide by all rules and decisions of the organizing committee.
- Organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the event without prior notice; their decision is final.
- Participants retain ownership of their ideas but grant the organizers a royalty-free, non-exclusive license for promotional use.
- Disputes will be governed under Indian law with Pune jurisdiction.
