It is the year 2075. We are in a post-apocalyptic world: nations have crumbled, economies have turned to dust, and the survivors are scattered across desolate lands. Yet, amidst the chaos, a new era is dawning — The Age of Renewal.

The journey begins with a game  where teams must strategically select their base, each offering unique advantages and risks – from fertile lands prone to conflict, to technologically advanced but energy-deficient territories. Will you risk an unstable economy for resources or choose security at the cost of progress? In the face of major resource crunches, slowing economies and growing populations, an auction of resources at hand seems to be the only way out.

In this high-stakes battle for renewal, will you rise as the architect of a thriving civilisation, or will your economy crumble into dust? The future is in your hands.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind economic rebuilding simulation, where every decision shapes your strategy, every bid influences your resources, and every challenge sharpens your economic acumen. Get ready to tackle high-impact scenarios that mirror real-world economic dynamics!

Eligibility:

• The competition is open for all undergraduates and postgraduates across all disciplines.
• A student can be a part of only one team.
• There is no restriction on the number of teams per institute.

Guidelines:

• Each team should consist of 3-4 members.
• Cross-college teams are allowed.

Stages and Timelines:

Round 1: Quiz

Conducted online on Unstop, this quiz will test participants' critical thinking skills, economics knowledge and ability to apply economics-related concepts. There will be 20 questions to be attempted in 15 minutes. This will be an eliminatory round.

Round 2 – Ecodyssey: Rebuild

In this intermediate online round, participants will analyze a real-life economic rebuilding case and craft a concise two-slider deck (excluding introductory and appendix slides). The deck should highlight key challenges, strategic interventions, and measurable outcomes of the case. Submissions will be evaluated on depth of analysis, clarity, and strategic insight. Participants must upload their decks via Unstop within the given deadline.

Round 3 – Ecodyssey: Revive & Revitalise

In this dynamic two-day round conducted at Sri Venkateswara College, shortlisted teams will engage in an immersive simulation designed to test their strategic thinking and economic acumen. On the first day, the shortlisted teams will take part in the auction of resources to acquire essential resources imperative for rebuilding the economies allocated to them. The following day, the teams will present their comprehensive newly-created economic rebuilding plans to a panel of judges.
