The Elementor Template Kit Designer Contest by CopyElement is an exciting UI/UX design challenge for creators who love crafting websites using Elementor. With 3 progressive rounds, the contest identifies and rewards the best template designers based on creativity, usability, and technical execution. The grand prize: a Lifetime Pro Plan of CopyElement.

Guidelines:

Eligibility:

• Open to all: students, professionals, and freelancers.
• Basic knowledge of Elementor (Free or Pro) required.
• Must have access to a WordPress environment (local or live).

WordPress Setup Requirement:

• Participants must work in a WordPress + Elementor environment.
• If you don’t have a setup, create a free WordPress site instantly using Pantheon.io.

Video Guide:

• A complete step-by-step video tutorial for submission will be shared (YouTube link to be provided).
• This video will cover:
  • Creating a new template: Templates > Add New Template > Page
  • Designing the page using Elementor
  • Exporting your template in JSON format
  • Taking full-page screenshots or using a scrolling screenshot tool

Format:

• Round 1: Qualifier (7 Days)
  • Submit 1 homepage template in JSON with a screenshot
• Round 2: Semi-Final (7 Days)
  • Submit 2 pages: Homepage + Inner Page
• Round 3: Final (7 Days)
  • Submit a complete 3-page template kit

Description of all the rounds:

• Round 1
  • Objective: Design a fully responsive one-page website template using Elementor for one of the categories: Healthcare, Business Consultant, or SaaS Startup.
  • Details:
    • Choose one category.
    • Design should include homepage, about, services, testimonials, and CTAs or similar.
    • Use Elementor (Free or Pro).
    • Using CopyElement components is optional but gets bonus points.
    • Export the template as a .json file.
    • Upload to GitHub with a full-page screenshot inside a snapshot folder.
    • Include a README.md with template name, category, and description.
• Round 2:
  • Design Task: Design a UI kit of 6 reusable sections using Elementor for one of these new categories:
    • E-commerce Store
    • Fitness Coach
    • Portfolio / Personal Brand
  • Sections Can Include:
    • Hero
    • Services
    • Product Grid
    • Testimonials
    • Pricing
    • CTA
  • Requirements:
    • Ensure consistency in design, color, and typography.
    • Must be responsive and built using Elementor (Free or Pro).
    • Export each section as a .json file.
    • Upload to a new folder named round2-kit in your GitHub repo.
    • Include a README.md with section names and short descriptions.
• Round 3: 
  • Task: Create a 3-page template kit using Elementor for one of the following categories:
    • Real Estate Agency
    • Digital Marketing Agency
    • Online Learning / Course Platform
  • Pages Should Include:
    • Home
    • About/Services
    • Contact/CTA
  • Requirements:
    • The design should reflect a cohesive visual language, showcasing real-world use cases.
    • Use consistent components, color palette, and typography.
    • Export all 3 templates as .json files.
    • Place them in a round3-kit folder in your GitHub repo.
    • Include a README.md with kit name, category, and page descriptions.

Scoring Criteria (Out of 5 Each):

• Layout & Design Consistency
• Mobile Responsiveness
• Creativity & Originality
• User Experience (UX)
• Code Structure & Cleanliness (JSON)

Rules:

• Only Elementor-based templates are allowed.
• Submissions must be uploaded to GitHub with proper folder structure.
• All screenshots must be clear and represent the complete page layout.
• Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
• All templates must be responsive (desktop + mobile).
• Assets used must be copyright-free or created by the participant.
• AI-generated layouts or code not permitted.
• Submissions beyond the deadline will not be evaluated.
• Only individual entries are accepted.

Scoring Criteria (Total: 10 Points):

• Design Aesthetics & Creativity (3 Points)
  • Clean, modern, and visually appealing layout that reflects creativity and polish.
• Category Relevance & Structure (2 Points)
  • Appropriateness of the template for the selected category and logical content structure.
• Responsiveness & Usability (2 Points)
  • Mobile-friendly design, intuitive layout, and user experience across devices.
• Documentation & Submission Accuracy (2 Points)
  • Proper .json export, GitHub repo setup with README and snapshot folder.
• Bonus – Use of CopyElement Components (1 Point)
  • Earn an extra point for smart integration of CopyElement components.
