STARTUP MODEL BASED ON PROBLEMS
- General Rules-
- Participants are required to bring their own devices, chargers etc, and it's important to note that the organizing committee will not take responsibility for any issues with your devices.
- No pre-submission required; presentations will be delivered live during the event.No foul language or unethical demonstrations should be used during the presentation.
- The organizing committee shall exhibit the right of immediate disqualification in case of plagiarism or any other violations.
- Under all circumstances, the decision of the expert committee shall be final.
- Competition Rules-
Objective:
The objective is to inspire innovative startup models addressing problems, fostering collaboration, visual representation, communication skills, environmental responsibility, and clear evaluation criteria.

Applicability: Participants of all age groups above 16 years
Members: 1-5 Members each team
1st Round:
Impact Genesis - Cultivating Startups
DESCRIPTION: In this round, participants are tasked with developing innovative concepts that address pressing issues. Team members are encouraged to collaborate across disciplines to enrich their models. Each team can construct a physical or digital model showcasing the functionality, value proposition, and societal impact of their startup concept.
Presentations to the judging panel will focus on communicating the uniqueness, feasibility, and potential impact of each idea. Environmental responsibility is emphasized, with participants expected to use non-toxic and eco-friendly materials.
Time: 11am to 1:30pm ( followed by 30 mins break)
Theme: The theme of the competition is Solutions Startup. Participants are encouraged to develop startup concepts that address pressing issues such as healthcare, education, environment, poverty alleviation, etc.
Model Specifications: Each team must construct a physical or digital model of their startup concept. The model should be visually appealing and informative, showcasing key aspects of the startup's functionality, value proposition, target audience, and societal impact.
Presentation: Teams will be given 10 minutes each to present their startup model to the judging panel. Presentations should effectively communicate the uniqueness and feasibility of the startup concept, highlighting its potential for positive societal change.

2nd Round:
Tank Triumph - Navigating the Waters of Startup Success
DESCRIPTION: This event brings together the top 5 selected teams out of 30, offering them the opportunity to present their startup ideas to a panel of esteemed venture capitalists. During this session, each team will be given a chance to pitch a comprehensive analysis of their startup concept, highlighting its societal impact, product design, and market potential. They will actively engage in interactive discussions with the panelists, effectively showcasing their vision and strategy to strengthen their marketing efforts.
At the culmination of the event, the winning team will be announced and honored with a trophy, certificate of achievement, and a cash prize as recognition of their innovative endeavors and potential for positive change.
MODEL PRESENTATION: The teams are also encouraged to showcase their products to the judges and audience, enriching their pitches with a visual and interactive component.
TIME: 2:00 to 4:00pm
VENUE: Seminar Hall, A- Block, 3rd floor
PRESENTATION: Each team will have a dedicated 20-minute slot to present their startup model to the judging panel. This will comprise a 15-minute presentation, during which they must effectively convey the uniqueness and feasibility of their startup concept, emphasizing its potential for positive societal change. Following the presentation, there will be a 5-minute period allocated for questions and answers, allowing the panel to delve deeper into the details and clarify any inquiries they may have.
JUDGMENT CRITERIA:
Teams should focus on presenting the following key aspects of their startup model:
- Problem Statement: Present a concise description of the societal challenge that the startup aims to tackle head-on.
- Solution: Outline the inventive solution proposed by the startup to address the identified problem effectively.
- Market Opportunity: Showcase the existing market demand for the solution and its potential for widespread adoption and growth.
- Business Model: Elaborate on the revenue generation strategy devised by the startup, emphasizing its sustainability and long-term viability.
- Impact: Emphasize the tangible societal impact and positive outcomes generated by the startup's innovative solution.
