Elocution Competition

Guidelines:

• Date: 8 April 2023
• Time: 2-4 Pm
• Venue: St. Stephen’s College
• Topic: "One Nation One Election"

Rules:

• Participants will speak on a given topic.
• They have the freedom to choose to speak for or against the topic.
• Each participant will have a time limit of three minutes to present their speech.      

Judgement Criteria:

• Pronunciation: The participants should have a clear and correct pronunciation of words
• Fluency: The participants should be fluent in their speech, without any hesitation or stammering
• Voice Modulation: The participants should have a proper tone and modulation according to the emotions and mood of the speech
• Body Language: The participants should have a proper posture and gestures to enhance their speech
• Time Management: The participants should adhere to the allocated time limit for the speech without exceeding it
• Originality: The speech should reflect the originality of thought and independent thinking
