Enigma

Problem Statement:

This is a computational Astrophysics Hackathon where participants have to solve problems pertaining to a particular theme. (more details will be provided closer to the event)

Timeline and Submission:

• 12th April 2024, 11:59 PM IST: Release of the problem statement
• 14th April 2024, 02:00 AM IST: Deadline for submission
• The duration of Enigma will be 50 hours

Team Structure:

• A maximum of 5 members can participate in a team.  Minimum number of participants is 2.

Judging Criteria:

• Participants must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the relevant techniques and must provide a clear and concise explanation of their methodology and results.
• Design, innovation, and efficiency would lead to advantages for respective teams.
• Well-commented code will lead to extra points.

Rules and Regulations:

• Please ensure you have the development environments set up beforehand. You will not be given extra time for this.
• The usage of the internet is allowed.
• Teams found in the act of plagiarism and/or that submit a platform/presentation that resembles any recognized work by other organizations will be disqualified and will not be considered in the final standings.
• Participants must submit their solutions along with a brief report explaining their methodology and the results obtained. The submission must be made before the deadline, and the participants must retain a copy of their submission for future reference.
• In case of any dispute, the organizing committee's decision will be final.

First Prizes worth 5K.

Second prize worth 3K

Third prize worth 1K.
