Application Based Screening
The applications received will be filtered out basis the information provided and top shortlisted individuals will move ahead for the further rounds.
EO Mumbai Prelims
This will be Virtual Pitching Round! Shortlisted student entrepreneurs will be participating in the EO Mumbai Prelims via Video Conferencing.
EO Mumbai Finals
This will be a Offline round! Shortlisted student entrepreneurs will be participating in the EO Mumbai Finals and Pitching their Startups to a Live Jury Panel.
Global Finals
All the Finalists from different clusters will then compete in the Global Finals for the ultimate battle.
All that you need to know about EO Mumbai Global Student Entrepreneur Awards 2024
The EO Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (EO GSEA) is the premier event for student entrepreneurs worldwide. Student entrepreneurs compete against their peers from around the world in a series of local competitions to qualify for the EO GSEA Global Finals. EO GSEA is an Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) program. EO Odisha chapter is bringing this opportunity to the student community in India.
Structure:
- Application-based screening: The applications received will be filtered out on the basis of the information provided and the top shortlisted individuals will move ahead for the further rounds.
- EO Odisha Finals: Shortlisted student entrepreneurs will be participating in the EO Kolkata Finals.
- Global Finals: All the Finalists from different clusters will then compete in the Global Finals for the ultimate battle.
- EO Odisha Round: INR 1,50,000
- EO Global Finals: USD 100,000 (plus a Paid International Trip for all finalists)
- You must be enrolled for the current academic year in a university/college as an undergraduate or graduate* student at the time of application. Full-time enrollment is not required; part-time enrollment is acceptable.
- You must be the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of your student business. Each company can be represented by only one owner/co-founder - studentpreneur.
- Your student business must have been in operation for at least six consecutive months prior to the application.
- Your business must have generated US $500 or received US $1000 in investments at the time of application.
- You should not have been one of the final round competitors from any previous year’s GSEA Global Finals Competition.
- The competitor must be 18-30 years of age.
Note:
- Graduate students are eligible to apply only if they have continually enrolled in a university following their undergraduate degree and have not left school to work on their business or to seek other employment. Exceptions can be made for students who have taken up to one academic year off before beginning their postgraduate education.
