Essay Competition - Operation Sindoor: Redefining India's Policy Against Terrorism

As part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2025, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, proudly announces an insightful and thought-provoking essay competition on the theme Operation Sindoor – Redefining India’s Policy Against Terrorism.

This initiative invites young minds and passionate citizens to explore and express how Operation Sindoor signifies a bold and transformative step in India’s evolving counter-terrorism strategy. Participants will reflect on how the operation showcases India’s resilience, strategic depth, and the spirit of national unity against threats to peace and sovereignty.

Celebrate India’s resilience and commitment to peace through your words. Join this national initiative and be a voice for unity, strength, and change.

Participation Guidelines:

• Word Limit: 500–600 words
• Language: Hindi or English
• Theme Focus: Redefining national security, the role of youth, unity in diversity, and India’s cultural and strategic solidarity.

Gratifications:

• The top three short-listed winners will be awarded prize money of Rs. 10,000/- each.
• Top 200 participants along with one companion(spouse/guardian/relative, etc.) would be issued an e-invitation to witness the Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2025, at Red Fort, Delhi.
