All that you need to know about Excelathon
Get ready for Excelathon, under FINANZA'25, – a high-stakes finance simulation where your decisions can make or break a business! In this dynamic, Excel-based competition, teams will step into the shoes of financial strategists, navigating through raw data to uncover insights, optimize operations, and ultimately drive profitability.
From sorting through messy datasets to crafting sharp business strategies, participants will be tested on their analytical thinking, real-world decision-making, and ability to turn numbers into actions. With each round increasing in complexity, only the most adaptable and insightful teams will rise to the top.
This isn’t your average Excel challenge – it's a fast-paced, interactive experience that simulates the thrill of managing a business under pressure. Whether it's improving margins, reallocating resources, or identifying market opportunities, your team's judgment will shape your journey.
Note: Each team must carry at least one laptop, as Microsoft Excel will be the primary tool used throughout the simulation. All analysis, calculations, and decision-making will take place within Excel – so basic proficiency is essential, though you don’t need to be an expert in advanced functions.
