FIC Hansraj Stock Exchange: Stages and Timelines
Preliminary Round
The preliminary stage of the game would be held online through platforms such as Google meet and whatsapp. This short 30 minute simulation of the stock market would consist of multiple rounds of news updates impacting different investment avenues. Participants are expected to keep a track of their corpus and portfolios. This is an eliminative round and only the top teams will qualify for the finale.
Final Round (On Campus)
The finals would be an offline round held in the Hansraj College, University of Delhi. The qualified teams from the preliminary round will face each other as they impersonate the persona of portfolio managers. The portfolio managers will be expected to interpret the news, adapt to the twist and turns in the market to survive the crest and trough of their investments.

Event: Financial Securities Simulation
- Description: A competition offering participants the chance to navigate the securities market, applying financial expertise to make strategic trading decisions and build a robust portfolio.
Round Details:
- Preliminary Round:
- Platform: Online via Google Meet and WhatsApp.

- Outcome: Only the top 25 teams will advance to the finale.
- Finale:
- Location: Hansraj College, University of Delhi (offline).

General Guidelines:
- Eligibility: Open to students of classes 11 & 12, undergraduate, and postgraduate students.
- Teams: Participants can compete as Lone Wolves or in teams of 2.
- Cross-Teams: Cross-college and cross-course teams are allowed.
- Prelims: The preliminary round is eliminative.
- Registration Limit: A person can only register as part of one team. Multiple registrations will result in disqualification of all associated teams.
- Decision: The organizer’s decision will be final and binding in all circumstances
