All that you need to know about COEP ZEST'25 Football
Overall Rules:
- Students in PG must have completed their UG in B.Tech.
- All team members must be current UG or PG students, with an age limit of 25.
- Maximum of 3 PG students per team.
- No full PG student teams are allowed.
- At least 4 teams from different colleges must participate in any event format for a cash prize.
- If participation is less than 10, prize money and positions will be reduced.
- The referee’s decision is final; no arguments will be tolerated.
- Misbehaviour towards the organizing team, referees, faculties, or other teams may lead to disqualification.
- Year drop and drop-out students (from UG or PG) are not allowed.
- ZEST’25 reserves the right to limit maximum participation.
- Participants must be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Prizes over ₹10,000 will incur a 30% TDS tax. Winners can claim the tax via ITR1 on the Income Tax India website.
- Organizers are not responsible for injuries during the event.
- Mandatory accidental insurance from the participants' parent institutes.
- Clinical/medical expenses should be borne by the participant or their institute.
- All final decisions regarding the event will rest with ZEST'25.
- Objections against teams must be submitted in an objection form with a fee of ₹2000.
Mandatory Documents for Participation:
- National ID (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License).
- College ID card.
- Leaving Certificate (10th, 12th, or Diploma).
- Latest Semester Marksheet.
- Undertaking letter (to be signed at reporting).
- Fees receipt (current year).
- Bonafide letter (current year).
- 10th and 12th Board/Diploma Passing Certificate.
- Permitted letter signed by the Principal (mentioning team members and their class).
Documents must be original for verification. Xerox copies from DigiLocker will not be accepted.

General Rules for Football:
- Eligibility:
- Open exclusively to engineering colleges; diploma students are not permitted.
- All undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible, provided they are under 25 years of age.
- Teams may include up to 3 postgraduate students.
Boys' Tournament:

Team Composition:
- Each team must have 18 players (11 starters and 7 substitutes).
- Up to 5 substitutions are allowed during a match.

Equipment:
- Accessories such as watches, glasses, bracelets, chains, earrings, nose rings, and hair clips are worn at the player's own risk.
- A written acknowledgment of this risk must be submitted before the match.

Match Duration:
- The game consists of two halves, each lasting 15 minutes.

Disciplinary Actions:
- A player receiving a red card will be suspended for the subsequent match.

Rules:
- The offside rule is in effect.
- All other regulations adhere to the latest FIFA standard rules.
Girls' Tournament:

Team Composition:
- Each team comprises 7 players on the field and 3 substitutes.

Equipment:
- Accessories such as watches, glasses, bracelets, chains, earrings, nose rings, and hair clips are worn at the player's own risk.
- A written acknowledgment of this risk must be submitted before the match.

Rules:
- The offside rule is not applied.
- Kick-ins are used instead of throw-ins from corners.
- Rolling substitutions are permitted.
Entry Fees:
- Boys: ₹2,900 per team
- Girls: ₹1,000 per team
