Welcome to Forge Fest—a high-energy, 6-hour game jam where creativity, collaboration, and coding collide!
In partnership with IGDA (International Game Developers Association), this event brings together game enthusiasts, artists, coders, and storytellers to build a playable prototype from scratch in a pressure-cooker environment.

The twist? You won’t know the theme until the event begins!

This isn’t about perfection—it’s about prototyping fast, thinking on your feet, and celebrating the spirit of indie game creation. Whether you use Unity, Godot, Unreal Engine, or even RPG Maker—anything goes as long as your game is fresh, fun, and made in six hours.

Event Details:

• Duration: 6 continuous hours
• Venue: IIIT-Delhi Campus
• In Collaboration With: IGDA (International Game Developers Association)
• Mode: Onsite
• Eligibility: Open to students from all backgrounds and institutions
• Team Size: 1 to 4 members per team

Format & Structure:

• Theme Reveal at the start of the jam
• Build Phase (6 Hours): Ideate, design, and develop a game prototype under the time constraint
• Submission: Teams will submit an executable or playable build with a short gameplay explanation/demo
• Evaluation & Showcase: Judging panel will assess gameplay, creativity, and originality. Top entries may be featured on official ESYA and IGDA platforms
