Mock Crypto Trading Competition

Want to explore and leverage the exponentially growing Cryptocurrency Industry and experience the volatility of this FUD referred market without the risk of losing your own money? Congratulations! We’d like to invite you to participate in Fortune'21 Mock Crypto Trading Competition.

Through this competition, Assets - The FinTech and Investment Society of Delhi Technological University (DTU) aims to get students familiarised and exposed to the cryptocurrency market with real-world trading without actually investing their own money.  

Guidelines: 

• There is no participation fee.
• There is no prerequisite knowledge required for this competition.
• The competition is going to be held on Roostoo - a mock crypto exchange simulator. The app can be downloaded from the links below :

• The participation code required in the Roostoo app will be sent to the registered participants.

Game Contest :

 Starting Portfolio - Each participant will begin with mock $50000 worth of virtual money.

Trading -

• Participants can enter any number of trades to mock buy or sell 33 cryptocurrencies (ranked according to real-life market capitalization). To mirror real-life crypto trading, participants can choose between 2 types of trades when buying or selling any crypto.
  • Market Order – refers to executing the trade immediately with the current market price.
  • Limit Order – refers to executing the trade at a specified price set by the participant.

 Leaderboard -

• The participants will be ranked according to the overall portfolio returns at the end of the competition.
• For example, a participant starts off with $50000 virtual USD and ends up with $60000 virtual USD in the portfolio, the portfolio return rate will be 20%.
• The leaderboard board will be updated in real-time.
