Gen AI Championship: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Discover – Discovery and Vision (Online)
Submission round through Unstop platform.In this round, teams identify a meaningful problem within a given domain and define a clear product vision. Participants must demonstrate user empathy, problem clarity, and initial market understanding using Generative AI tools. The outcome of this round forms the foundation for all subsequent rounds and must be carried forward without change. Deliverables: Problem statement, user persona, “How Might We” statement, product vision summary, and a brief market/competitor overview. Submission Format: One consolidated PDF or PPT file (No maximum limit slides/pages)
Round 2: Brand – Brand and Campaign (Online)
Teams transform their product concept from Round 1 into a strong brand identity and a compelling launch narrative. The focus is on storytelling, brand coherence, positioning, and emotional connection with the target user. All branding must directly reflect the product defined in Round 1. Deliverables: Brand name, logo, tagline, color palette, brand voice and positioning, campaign concept, social media creatives, and a 30–45 second launch video. Submission Format: One PDF or PPT file (No maximum limit slides/pages) plus a video link.
Round 3: Visualize – Prototype Preview (Offline)
Shortlisted teams create a visual blueprint of their product before building it. This round evaluates how clearly teams can visualize product functionality, user flows, and interface design while maintaining brand consistency from Round 2. Deliverables: Key UI screen concepts, user flow diagrams, and a landing page visual. Format: Offline presentation and evaluation at the campus venue.
Round 4: Build – Build and Launch (Offline Grand Finale)
Teams build a functional product prototype live using AI-powered tools and present it to the jury. The prototype must integrate insights, branding, and visuals from all previous rounds. Teams conclude with a live demo and structured pitch. Deliverables: Functional prototype with core user flows, live product demonstration, and a brief business model and roadmap summary. Format: Live build, demo, and jury Q&A.

GenAI Championship 2026
The Startup Sprint | 4 Rounds | 1 Champion
- Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur presents the GenAI Championship 2026, a national-level competition designed to simulate a real-world startup journey powered entirely by Generative AI. Participants work on a single product idea across four progressive rounds, moving from problem discovery to live prototype development.
- The competition emphasizes continuity, originality, strategic thinking, and execution. Each round builds directly on the previous one, mirroring the lifecycle of an actual startup.
Competition Structure:
- The competition consists of four rounds.

Rounds 1 and 2 will be conducted online through the Unstop platform.

Rounds 3 and 4 will be conducted offline at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur.
Round 1: Discover – Discovery and Vision (Online)
- Teams receive a broad problem domain and are required to identify a specific, meaningful problem and propose a clear product opportunity.
Objectives:
- Define a well-articulated problem
- Demonstrate user understanding and empathy
- Conduct initial market and competitor research
- Present a clear product vision
Key Deliverables:
- Problem statement
- User persona
- “How Might We” statement
- Product vision summary
- Market and competitor overview
Round 2: Brand – Brand and Campaign (Online)
- Teams transform their product concept from Round 1 into a coherent brand identity and communication strategy.
Objectives:
- Develop a strong brand identity
- Define brand positioning and voice
- Design a launch-ready campaign aligned with the target user
Key Deliverables:
- Brand name, logo, tagline, and color palette
- Brand voice and positioning document
- Campaign concept and social media creatives
- Launch video
Round 3: Visualize – Prototype Preview (Offline)
- Shortlisted teams advance to the offline stage to create a complete visual blueprint of their product.
Objectives:
- Visualize product interface and user experience
- Demonstrate logical user flows
- Ensure brand consistency across product visuals
Key Deliverables:
- UI screen concepts
- User flow diagrams
- Landing page visual
Round 4: Build – Build and Launch (Offline Grand Finale)
- Teams build a functional product prototype live using AI-powered tools and present it to the jury.
Objectives:
- Build a working prototype
- Demonstrate strong problem–solution fit
- Deliver a structured and confident live pitch
Key Deliverables:
- Functional prototype with core user flows
- Live product demonstration
- Business model and roadmap summary
Submission Guidelines:
- The submission links for Round 1 and Round 2 will be open in parallel on Unstop.
- Teams must submit Round 1 deliverables first. Submission of Round 2 deliverables is permitted only after Round 1 has been submitted.
- While teams may work on both rounds simultaneously, the product concept submitted in Round 1 must be strictly carried forward into Round 2. Any deviation will lead to disqualification.
- All submissions must be completed within the timelines specified on Unstop.
Accepted Submission Formats:
- Teams may submit their work in PDF or PPT (PPTX) format, as outlined below.

Eligibility:
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines
- Team size: Minimum 1, Maximum 4 members
- Inter-college teams are permitted
- Participation is free of cost
Rules and Regulations:
- All submissions must be created exclusively using Generative AI tools approved by the organizing committee.
- Use of traditional design, development, or editing software, including Canva, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or manual coding tools, is strictly prohibited.
- All work must be original and created during the official competition timeline. Pre-existing content is not permitted.
- Teams must work on a single product idea across all rounds. Outputs from earlier rounds must be carried forward and integrated into subsequent rounds.
- Any form of plagiarism, misrepresentation, or violation of competition guidelines will result in immediate disqualification.
- Team composition cannot be changed after registration closes.
- Participants must adhere strictly to all timelines and submission deadlines. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Shortlisted teams must be available to participate in the offline rounds at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur.
- Internet access during offline rounds will be restricted to approved AI tools only.
- Decisions of the jury and organizing committee shall be final and binding.
Evaluation and Scoring:
- Final scores are cumulative across all rounds:
- Round 1: 15%
- Round 2: 20%
- Round 3: 25%
- Round 4: 40%
- Evaluation will focus on clarity of thought, innovation, consistency across rounds, execution quality, and integration of outputs.
Awards and Prize Money:
- GenAI Manager of the Year – 2026: ₹15,000
Category Awards:
- Best GenAI Storyteller: ₹4,500
- Best Product Innovator: ₹4,500
- Best Brand Builder: ₹2,000
- Best Technical Execution: ₹2,000
- Rising Star Award: ₹2,000
- Participation certificates will be issued to all eligible participants.
- Total : ₹30,000
Subject to Change:
- The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the competition structure, rules, timelines, evaluation criteria, shortlisting process, or prize distribution at any stage. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of all rules, regulations, and subsequent modifications.
