Healix- Healthcare Ideation Challenge: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Preliminary Business Idea
This round provides the teams with a chance to come up with innovative solutions to problems in the healthcare space, and present the same in a 1-slider , roughly touching upon the following:
- Brief about their business idea or solution
- What existing problem/pain point is the idea trying to solve?
- Target market and marketing strategy for the product/service
- Product offerings and right to win
Top teams qualify for the next round!
Round 2 : Detailed Business Plan
In this round, selected teams will get to showcase their idea in detail. This round will involve a 3-slider submission, where teams will cover the following topics:
Slide 1: Problem Identification & Your Solution
Slide 2: Feasibility
Slide 3: Impact & Future Vision
Selected participants making their submission in this round will have the opportunity to present their idea LIVE to a panel of judges, who are pioneers in the field of healthcare and pharma.
Round 3: Offline Presentation
Teams who qualify for round 3 will get a chance to present their idea to the judges. Each team will get a maximum of 7 minutes to present, followed by 3-5 minutes of Q&A by the panelists. Teams will be judged on the following:
- Innovation and originality
- Feasibility and scalability
- Impact on healthcare outcomes
- Clarity & structure of presentation
- Data-driven insights and research

Note: ALL TEAMS presenting on the D-day will win a minimum prize amount of Rs. 2000. Details about the prize distribution criteria can be found in the subsequent sections.

Fueled by government initiatives and soaring private investment, this $320 billion market is rapidly evolving beyond traditional care, with a strong focus on accessibility, affordability, and digital integration. We're witnessing a startup boom where cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) are enabling remote patient monitoring and smart diagnostics, while Pharma and biotech companies lead global breakthroughs in generics and vaccines.
This Ideathon challenges you to step into this dynamic ecosystem and pitch a bold idea, product, or service - be it a tech-driven solution leveraging AI/IoT, a novel pharmaceutical approach, or a sustainable service model - that solves a critical healthcare problem in India. Think big, innovate practically, and help architect a healthier, more self-reliant future for the nation.
Eligibility criteria: All students of Undergraduate or Postgraduate are eligible to apply.
General Rules:
- Open to students from all disciplines across India.
- Participants must register in teams of 3–5 members.
- A student cannot be part of more than one team.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams participating from the same institute.
- Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are allowed.
- Any violation of the above guidelines will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
- Travel and accommodation costs will NOT be covered by the organizers.
Judging:

- Evaluation will be based on the official judging criteria and scoring sheet.
- Judges’ and organizers’ decisions will be final.
