Finance Quiz
The quiz will be on Unstop with 15 questions to be answered in 15 minutes. The quiz will be based on accounting ratios, fundamental and technical analysis, stock market scenarios and stock valuations. Shortlisted teams will be informed via mail.
Case Study Round
This round will test your stock market logic through problem statements, the teams will receive a problem statement, the solution of which has to be submitted via mail in form of 3 slide (excluding title slide and appendix) PPT. The top 8 teams will proceed to the Final Round (Offline).
Offline Mock Stock Round
This is an Offline Round to be conducted at Hindu College Campus. This is a Stock Market Simulation Round where teams will be required to go through offline trading of Indian companies through four trading sessions. An initial Investment amount will be provided which will be used by the teams to maximize their profits in a mock simulation of the stock market. The stock prices will be affected by frequent news announcements and the fundamental outlook of the company’s financial information provided on the day of the event. Brokers (Student Volunteers) will be present alongside every contesting team to assist them in executing trades and managing their portfolios on the day of the event. Disclaimer: The simulation will have nothing to do with the real stock trading happening on or before the day of this round.

Event Guidelines:
- Registrations are open for all colleges and schools.
- A team can have a maximum of two members and lone wolves are also welcomed.
- Cross-institutional teams are allowed.
- Only College Undergraduates and students of Grades XI-XII are allowed to participate.
- The competition will have three rounds.
- The final round will be offline at the Hindu College Campus, University of Delhi.
Note: You can register as an individual/team in only 'one' event under L'Economiste 2026 (i.e., either Potentate, Hindu Stock Exchange or Ranjan Roy Memorial Debate)
