Event Guidelines, Rules, and Regulations:

Event Overview: The Ideathon: Poster Presentation is an exciting opportunity to showcase your innovative ideas at the Konark 2.0 Tech Fest. Participants will create and present posters on their novel concepts, contributing to advancements in various fields.

Event Details:

• Date: 19th February
• Time: 9:30 AM
• Venue: Chaudhary Ranbir Singh Auditorium, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, Haryana 125001
• Registration:
• Online via Unstop.
• Poster Requirement: Participants must print and bring their posters themselves. No printing services will be provided at the venue.

Themes for the Event: Participants are encouraged to focus on one of the following themes:

• Health Care
• Environmental
• Cybersecurity
• AI/Machine Learning
• Automobiles/Mechatronics
• E-commerce
• Education
• IoT
• Defence and Space (Astronomy and Cosmology)
• Open (Conventional progress in any of the above fields) 

Who Can Participate: Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Ph.D. students studying in a recognized university are eligible to participate.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission: We invite abstracts (not exceeding 300 words) of original research for poster presentations. Please include the title, names of all authors, complete postal address, and email address of the corresponding author in the abstract. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. Abstracts must be formatted in Microsoft Office Word, using Times New Roman font (size 12pt) with 1.5-line spacing. The deadline for abstract submission is 7th February 2025.

Poster Presentation Competition:

• Dimensions: 120 cm (length) x 90 cm (width)
• Font Sizes:
• Title: 80 pt
• Authors: 50 pt
• Subheadings: 46 pt
• Text: 24 pt
• Captions: 18 pt

• Content Requirements:
• Posters should feature the following sections: Title, Name, Theme, Address, Introduction, Materials and Working, Conclusion, and References.
• Content must be appropriately sectioned with bold titles and subheadings. Avoid using multiple fonts. Poster font size should be >=16 pt.
• The poster should include the logos of Guru Jambheshwar University, Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Team iConnect.
• At the footer, include the note: "Presented at Konark 2.0 organized by Team iConnect, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Innovation & Incubation Center, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, Haryana."

Content of the Poster:

• ORIGINAL Research Work (a declaration from the authors will be required).
• The poster should include the title, name, and affiliation of all authors.
• Ensure proper citations for any data or images used.

Rules and Regulations:

• Eligibility: The event is open to individuals or teams of up to 4 members.
• Poster Specifications: Participants must adhere to the dimensions and content guidelines mentioned above.
• Presentation:
  • Participants will have 5 minutes to present their poster to the judges.
  • A brief Q&A session will follow each presentation.
• Judging Criteria:
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Relevance to the theme
  • Visual presentation
  • Clarity and articulation during the presentation
• Code of Conduct:
  • Participants must adhere to the event schedule.
  • Any form of misconduct or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
• Travel expenses are not covered by the organizers.
