IIITD Valorant Tournament

General Guidelines:

• Players have to report 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
• Participants should adhere to event guidelines. Any violations/misconduct or use of unfair means by the team or supporters could result in direct disqualification.
• Players must respect the venues. Any damage to fields, courts, or equipment will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification, along with monetary penalties for the damage 
• The decisions made by the match officials will be final and binding 
• Players will have to bring their own equipment for the matches.
• Every player on the team must provide their college ID card for verification
• Students are strictly prohibited from engaging in any malpractice on college premises and must adhere to the institute's rules and regulations

Size: 5 Member team

Rules:

Day 1 (Online) – 28th August, 7 PM onwards

• Mode: Deathmatch
• Map: ascent
• Allowed Weapons (Day 1 Deathmatches): Classic, Ghost, Phantom, Vandal, Operator, Outlaw, Sheriff, Guardian, Knife
• Disqualification if any unlisted weapon is used.
• In case of tie (K/D/A): 1v1 tiebreaker will decide.

Day 2 (offline) - 29th August on IIITD campus

• Qualified players will be divided into teams to play standard mode (13 rounds, win by two)
• Match procedures state that if a player disconnects before the match starts, the organisers must be informed, and teams may substitute players between maps with prior notification to the organisers.

Day 2 will follow a knockout format, and the map will be Ascent.

• Match Settings:
• Mode: Standard (13 Rounds)
• Allow Cheats: OFF
• Overtime: Win by Two
  • Players must have a Riot Valorant account eligible for competitive games
  • Players banned for in-game behaviour or violations of Riot’s Terms of Service are not eligible. Bans will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Team names and usernames must not contain vulgarities, obscenities, or derivatives of Valorant agents or other similar character names.
