Innovate-A-Thon 3.0: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Submission Round (via Unstop)
Teams must submit a 5-slide PPT proposing their solution for one of the provided problem statements.
- Slide Requirements: Introduction, Problem Statement, Proposed Solution, Tech Stack, Closing Slide
- Last Date to Submit PPT: 20th August 2025
- Result Announcement: 22nd August 2025
- Finalists will be selected based on clarity, innovation, feasibility, and relevance.

Final Round - Offline(BIT, Mesra)
This will be a Offline and Demo Round. Participants will have to come to the college - Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and participate in the 36hrs Hackathon. Also stand a chance to attend the sessions of our esteemd guests Dr. Gajendra Purohit and Striver. The arrangements for participants' lodging and fooding will be arranged by the organisation itself. The deatils of which will be shared to the final participants later.

Overview:
- INNOVATE-A-THON 3.0, East India’s biggest Web3 hackathon, is a national-level event empowering student innovators to build decentralized solutions for real-world wartime and crisis challenges — all for a grand prize pool of ₹1,50,000
- Presented by our Title Sponsor, SUD Life Insurance, and Prime Sponsor, Coinbase, the event features an online submission round followed by an electrifying on-campus finale
- To elevate the experience, we’re also hosting exclusive sessions with two of India’s most popular and inspiring figures.
- Get ready to learn, build, and make history.
Guidelines:
Eligibility & Teaming:
- Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students across India
- Students from any stream or specialization (technical or non-technical) can apply
- Team size: 2–3 members
- Inter-college teams: Allowed
- Inter-specialization teams: Allowed
- Solo participation is not permitted
Hackathon Format & Timeline:
Round 1: Online Idea Submission:
- Mode: Online
- Teams must submit a 5-slide PPT proposing their solution for one of the provided problem statements
- Slide Requirements:
- Introduction – Team details, , etc.
- Problem Statement – What problem are you solving?
- Proposed Solution – Your unique approach
- Tech Stack – Which technologies will you use?
- Closing Slide – Impact, scalability, and any final thoughts
- Last Date to Submit PPT: 20th August 2025
- Result Announcement: 22nd August 2025
- Finalists will be selected based on clarity, innovation, feasibility, and relevance
Round 2: Offline Build and Demo Round:
- Dates: 29th–31st August 2025
- Venue: Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India
- Finalist teams will develop their proposed solution in 36 hours, with access to mentors and tools
- The participants will also be allowed to attend the special sessions with two of India’s most popular and inspiring figures.
Note: A token fee of ₹250 per participant will be collected in the final round to confirm on-campus attendance.
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation & creativity
- Relevance to theme and problem
- Technical depth and execution
- Impact & scalability
- Demo quality and presentation
- Note: Participants are allowed to use LLMs, but make sure the solutions are unique and scalable.
Themes & Problem Statements:
- Participants will choose 1 out of 7 problem statements, including:
- Simplified DeFi Aggregator: Build a user-friendly dashboard that automatically finds and invests in the best DeFi yield farming options using smart contracts
- Tokenized Real Estate: Create a platform for fractional ownership and trading of local landmarks using NFTs and smart contracts
- Dynamic NFT Tickets: Design event tickets as evolving NFTs that change based on user participation and offer loyalty benefits
- AI DeFi Agent on Base: Develop an AI agent that understands natural language commands and performs DeFi transactions autonomously using Coinbase tools
- AI Smart UPI for Web3: Build a payment system that uses AI to execute intent-based, conditional, or recurring crypto payments like "Smart UPI"
- Digital Identity for Refugees: Create a dApp for displaced civilians to generate a tamper-proof digital identity using wallets and encrypted data
- Decentralized Aid Distribution: Develop a blockchain-based platform to track, verify, and transparently manage the distribution of aid during crises
