Internico' 24: Stages and Timelines

Preliminary round: Submission of synopsis

• The synopsis must be crisp and precise and must be submitted in not more than 300 words. OR (including a maximum of 4 slides on the summer internship within 300 words) before 26 February 2024.
• All submissions will be accepted through Unstop platform, by 26 February 2024. Based on the synopsis 07 finalists will be selected by the judges who will be allowed to present their final presentation which will be announced on  26 February, 2024.

Internico Main Event:

The 07 finalists will be allowed to present their internship reports in front of our expert panel consisting of Industrial experts and senior academics pedagog from various domains.

About the Opportunity:

• Internico saw huge participation from top B-schools and other premier educational institutions of the country, including IIMs, IITs, and other reputed private institutions. Encouraged by the success of Internico’22, we are excited to bring to you Internico’24.
• Internico is an annual Summer Internship Competition, organised by the Department of Management, BIT Mesra in which both undergraduate and postgraduate students from various B-Schools across the country get a chance to showcase the learning and experiences from their summer internship projects in the form of short 10 min presentation. In this event, the institute will shortlist 07 best Summer Internship Projects by going through the synopsis reports submitted by participants. The students then get to present their work to a panel of judges and industry leaders.

The top 2 winners will be rewarded with cash prizes and goodies. 

Note: Based on the judgment of jury members, the top 2 finalists will be given prizes, and the top 07 participants will be given certificates.

• What's at stake- Rewards and Prizes?
  • 2 Winners will be provided with cash prizes, exciting goodies, and Certificates of merit.
  • The top 07 participants will get a participation certificate for the submission of the synopsis.

Rules and Regulations:

First Round:

• All management students (UG & PG) who have completed their internships are eligible for participation.
• All entries should register via the Unstop platform, the deadline for registration is 26 February 2024 at 11:59 PM IST.
• All participants should submit a synopsis of their Summer Internship Project. The synopsis should be
  • Either a word document- short, precise, and within the specified word limit i.e., 300 words or
  • PowerPoint Presentation of 3 to 4 slides (within 300 words).
• The last date for the submission of the synopsis is 26^th February 2024 at 11:59 PM IST.
• The synopsis will be reviewed by the judges on the following criteria:
  • Clarity and presentation of the idea
  • Impact of the internship on the company
  • Key learnings from the Internship experience
• Based on the criteria mentioned above top 07 synopsis will be selected for the final round.
• The result of the first round will be published on.

Final Round:

• On the final day of the event, all the participants have to report to the campus for their presentation.
• The selected top 07 participants have to present their work to a panel of judges in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.
• The PowerPoint presentation should not exceed the specified time limit i.e., 10 mins.
• The final round will be conducted on 06 March 2024 in CAT Hall, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.
