Round 1: BrandBlitz Quiz (Online on Unstop)
This will be an online quiz round! You will see the “Play” button here, once the round is live.
Round 2: Bring Your Own Product (Submission Round) (via Unstop)
Round 2: BYOP - Bring Your Own Product (Online): Participants can choose from the given themes of Sustainability/ technology after the quiz to develop a unique product idea, create a poster, and choose a presentation format- PPT/ PDF/ ad/ video/ skit.
This will be a submission round! You will see the “Submit” button here, once the round is live.
Round 3: PR Redemption (Offline Round)
In the fast-paced world of marketing, a single misstep can send a brand into turmoil. PR Redemption challenges participants to think like corporate strategists by handling a hypothetical PR disaster. Teams will be given a fictional crisis scenario affecting a well-known brand. Their task? Develop a marketing strategy to rebuild trust, restore the brand’s reputation, and bring it back into the limelight. This event will test participants’ creativity, crisis management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability under pressure. This will be a Offline round! You will see the “Enter” button here, once the round is live.

Welcome to "MARKETHON: Strategize, Innovate, Dominate!"
Organized by EUNOIA-The Marketing Club, Department of Management Studies (DoMS), NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, as part of Winnow 2024 – The National Cultural and Management Event. Get ready for an exciting journey filled with marketing challenges!
Event Overview:
- Team Size: 1 to 4 members
- Duration: 4 to 5 hours
- Structure:
- Two online rounds: BrandBlitz quiz & BYOP (Bring Your Own Product)
- One offline round: PR Redemption
- Prizes: Cash prizes and certificates for the winners, and e-certificates for all participants.
Rounds Breakdown:
Round 1: BrandBlitz Quiz (Unstop)
- Description: A quiz to test participants' brand knowledge, visual recognition skills, and marketing acumen.
- Duration: Live for 12 hours
- Guidelines:
- 15 marketing-related questions.
- One member can participate on behalf of the team.
- Elimination round: Only the top teams will move to the next round.
- Scoring:+1 for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer, 0 for skipped questions.
- Tie Breaker: Teams with quicker responses will be prioritized.
Round 2: BYOP - Bring Your Own Product (Online)
- Description: Teams develop a product idea based on one of the provided themes—Sustainability or Technology.
- Submission Options:
- PPT submission: Minimum 7 slides
- Advertisement Video: Max 3 minutes
- Skit: Max 5 minutes
- Evaluation: Creativity, feasibility, alignment with the theme, and impact.
- Elimination round: Teams must impress to move forward.
Round 3: PR Redemption (Offline)
- Description: Teams will analyze a fictional PR crisis for a well-known brand and develop a marketing strategy to rebuild its reputation.
- Preparation: Teams will receive the PR crisis few days before the offline presentation.
- Presentation:
- 7-minute presentation with a 3-minute Q&A.
- Use PPT to present your solution.
- Each team member can participate in presenting the crisis management strategy.
- Judging Criteria: Focus on creativity, professionalism, strategic thinking, and communication.

Round 1: BrandBlitz Quiz
- Duration: 15 minutes
- Types of Questions: Identifying incomplete logos, taglines, and marketing trivia.
Round 2: BYOP - Bring Your Own Product
- Evaluation Criteria:
- Creativity
- Alignment with the theme
- Feasibility
- Impact
Round 3: PR Redemption
- Total Points: 100
- Strength of Strategy & Creativity (30 points)
- Relevance (15 points): How well the strategy addresses the PR crisis and aligns with the brand.
- Creativity (15 points): Originality and innovation in restoring the brand’s reputation.
- Role-Playing as Marketing Manager (25 points):
- Professionalism (10 points): Confidence and authority as a corporate leader.
- Strategic Thinking (15 points): Realism and effectiveness of the marketing strategies.
- Adaptability & Role Transition (20 points):
- Crisis Response (10 points): How well the team adapts their strategy to counter arguments.
- Consistency (10 points): Maintaining coherence in defense and countering roles.
- Communication & Persuasion (15 points):
- Clarity (10 points): Structure and clarity of the arguments.
- Persuasiveness (5 points): Effectiveness in convincing judges and the audience.
- Team Coordination & Preparation (10 points):
- Preparation (5 points): How efficiently teams use their prep time.
- Coordination (5 points): Smooth collaboration and role distribution among members.

- No registration fee required.
- In case of any cheating, external help, or obscene content, teams will be disqualified.
