Masters' Union The CEO Challenge

Masters' Union is a premium business school in Gurugram offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in technology and business management. With The CEO Challenge, it aims to reward the smartest and the brightest high school students with the potential to design disruptive solutions to the world’s toughest problems.  

The top 10% applicants from all over India would be selected for the challenge finale at Masters’ Union Gurugram Campus in the presence of their esteemed panel of judges which includes Ashneer Grover. The top 10 students will get the chance to shadow a CEO of a leading company for one day. Not only this, the Top 3 students will win cash prizes worth INR 10 lakhs!

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students studying in Class XI or XII in any school in India or NRI/Gap Year Students looking to join a UG program in the year 2023 can apply. 

Challenge Structure:

The Challenge will be conducted in 3 parts. 

Round 1- 7 Day-7 Minute Simulation Marathon

• Students will be required to answer MCQ-based business simulations in 7 minutes for 7 consecutive days. The Day-wise Simulation schedule is as follows: 
  • PVR Investment Banking Challenge - 17th December 2022
  • Venture Capital Challenge - 18th December 2022
  • Tech Stocks Fund Management Challenge - 19th December 2022
  • Netflix Turnaround Strategy Challenge - 20th December 2022
  • Amazon Data Analytics Challenge - 21st December 2022
  • Myntra Operations Management Challenge - 22nd December 2022
  • Emerging Technology Leader Challenge - 23rd December 2022
• 10 marks will be given for each correct answer in the 7 day-wise simulation rounds.
• The Leaderboard will display the top 200 students basis the combined scores of all Round 1 Simulation Challenges.
• Ranks in the Leaderboard are based on the scores and finishing time of Round 1 Simulation Challenges.

Round 2- 4 Hour Virtual Internship

• The top 25% of students from Round 1 solve a real-world problem for a major industry brand. Students can submit their work anytime before the due date. 
• Students will be required to submit 2-minute video describing their solution to the case study at hand
• Students should also submit 1-2 slider PPT/ 1-2 paged document of their proposed solution to explain it further  
• All the teams are requested to submit their entries a few hours before the deadline to avoid any last-minute hassle.
• The duration of the video should not exceed 2 mins.

Round 3- 1 Day Leadership Immersion

• The top 10% of students from Round 2 are invited to Masters’ Union Campus in Gurugram where they role-play as a CXO for a leading tech company and tackle uncertain real-world business situations.

Rewards and Prizes for Masters' Union The CEO Challenge:

• Top 3 Winners - Cash prizes worth INR 10 lakhs

• Round 3 Finalists - All finalists and their parents will be invited to a gala dinner with the judges
• Round 2 Participants - All Round 2 participants get a Masters’ Union Goodies Bag delivered to their homes
