National Finance Olympiad

The National Finance Olympiad, organized by The Finance & Investment Cell, is a unique initiative designed to challenge and inspire students of classes 9th to 12th by expanding their understanding of global events, financial concepts, and stock markets.

Finance is more than just theory—it drives economies, influences global decisions, and shapes the future. If you find school exams limiting, this Olympiad is your chance to step beyond textbooks and explore the dynamic world of finance like never before.

Brace yourself for an intellectually stimulating experience that will test your knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, logical reasoning, and data interpretation through real-world case studies. Compete with students worldwide and showcase your financial expertise on a global stage!

Eligibility:

• Open to students currently enrolled in Class IX to Class XII.
• The Olympiad will be conducted online

Structure of the Olympiad:

The Olympiad shall consist of two rounds.

In the Preliminary round, there will be 50 questions in total. Participants will be provided with a maximum time of 60 minutes for this round of the Olympiad.

The Final round, there will be 50 questions in total. Participants will be provided with a maximum time of 60 minutes for this round of the Olympiad.

No prior preparation is required for the Olympiad.

About the Institution:

• Shri Ram College of Commerce is a premier institution when it comes to the fields of undergraduate commerce and economics. The institution stands by its vision of achieving and sustaining excellence in teaching and research and enriching local, national and international communities through its research, the skills of alumni, and the publishing of academic and educational materials.
• The Finance & Investment Cell Initiated in November 2009, FIC SRCC is a student-driven initiative to facilitate knowledge sharing on matters of finance, geopolitics and economics at Shri Ram College of Commerce and at the university level. The cell aims to provide a stimulus to develop financial instincts among young minds through regular workshops, events and continued collaboration with the industry, to bridge the gap between pedagogy and practice. A small step, that will hopefully yield some great dividend.
• Goela School of Finance, founded in 2014, is an investors’ community led by Harsh Goela (MBA) and Aditya Goela (CFA). In addition to creating quality stock market content on YouTube and Instagram, they aspire to create 1,00,000 profitable investors by 2030 through their community and training programs.

What’s at Stake:

• Prizes Worth ₹80,000: Winners will take home a combined total of ₹80,000 in cash
• Certificates of Merit: All finalists will be honoured with certificates of merit.
