Optumiz, the Operations and Supply Chain Cell of SBM, NMIMS Mumbai, in collaboration with Savicon Engineering Services, is thrilled to announce Op-Era 2026, the national-level case competition! This year, we bring you a challenge centered around Lean Six Sigma, Optimization, and Quality Management, where your ability to think critically, strategize effectively, and execute seamlessly will be put to the ultimate test.

Event Timelines:

• Event Registration: Till 13th February 2026, 18:00 IST
• Teams with minimum 2 and maximum 3 members can participate.
• Round 1: Online Quiz
  • Date: 13th February 2026
  • Time: 20:00 - 23:59 IST
  • Hosted on the Unstop Platform
  • Format: 30 MCQs to be completed within 20 minutes in the 4 hour quiz window.
• Round 2: Case Submission
  • Shortlisted teams from Round 1 will be announced by 14th February 2026.
  • Teams will receive the case-related documents and must submit a 5-Slider Solution (excluding team introduction slide).
  • Deadline for submission: 20th February 2026, EOD.
• Round 3: Virtual Presentation
  • Top 5 teams will advance as National Finalists.
  • Finalists will present their solutions to a distinguished jury comprising industry experts from KPMG and esteemed faculty from NMIMS Mumbai.
  • Date: 25th February 2026 (timings to be communicated closer to the event).

Rules:

• The event is open to all national B-School students.
• Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants and a minimum of 2 participants.  
• A person can be a part of one team only.
• Any discrepancies would lead to the disqualification of both teams.
• All the participants should belong to the same institute.
• Any number of teams can participate from one institute.
• The decisions of the organizers of the contest will be final and binding on all the participants.
• The format and rules of events are subject to change before the start of the event.
• The naming convention for the case study submission should be "TeamName_CollegeName".
