Pac Bot (Iconic): Stages and Timelines
Round 1
1. Each participant will take turns playing once as the PAC BOT and twice as a GHOST BOT. 2. During a round, the PAC BOT must remain inside the maze and avoid contact with both GHOST BOTS. 3. A successful touch by a GHOST BOT on the PAC BOT will be considered a Kill. 4. The PAC BOT will start from a corner of the maze, whereas both GHOST BOTS will begin from the central region. 5. Once the round starts, no additional bots or participants are allowed to enter the arena. 6. The maze contains two special halt zones, each linked to a specific GHOST BOT. 7. When the PAC BOT reaches a halt zone, the corresponding GHOST BOT must pause movement for 5 seconds, giving the PAC BOT a tactical advantage.
Final Round
Teams which selected in Round 1 will taken to round 2. With same round 1 rules

PAC BOT is an action-packed robotics challenge inspired by the classic arcade maze game. The arena consists of one PAC BOT and two GHOST BOTS. The goal of the PAC BOT is to navigate the maze strategically and avoid being caught, while the GHOST BOTS aim to track and tag the PAC BOT as quickly as possible. The event tests agility, control precision, and tactical thinking.
Event Structure:
- Each participant will take turns playing once as the PAC BOT and twice as a GHOST BOT.
- During a round, the PAC BOT must remain inside the maze and avoid contact with both GHOST BOTS.
- A successful touch by a GHOST BOT on the PAC BOT will be considered a Kill.
- The PAC BOT will start from a corner of the maze, whereas both GHOST BOTS will begin from the central region.
- Once the round starts, no additional bots or participants are allowed to enter the arena.
- The maze contains two special halt zones, each linked to a specific GHOST BOT.
- When the PAC BOT reaches a halt zone, the corresponding GHOST BOT must pause movement for 5 seconds, giving the PAC BOT a tactical advantage.
Team & Bot Specifications:
- Teams may have a maximum of 4 members.
- Each team must participate in both PAC BOT and GHOST BOT roles.
- The robot dimensions must not exceed 30 × 30 × 30 cm.
- Robots must be entirely built by the team. Use of ready-made or preassembled bots is not allowed.
- Both wired and wireless robots are permitted.
- Line-following or autonomous bots are strictly prohibited.
Rules & Guidelines:
- Communication between the two GHOST BOT teams for coordination or planning is strictly forbidden.
- All participants must possess a valid Kurukshetra ID.
- Team members cannot be changed once a round has begun.
- Wired and wireless bots will compete together; no separate categories will be conducted.
- Teams must not share components such as batteries, controllers, circuits, or mechanical parts.
- Wired bot operators must remain within the designated control zones.
- Any rule violation may lead to immediate disqualification.
- A rematch will only occur if all three teams agree.
- Each robot will be monitored by event coordinators, and the gameplay will be recorded.
- Disputes must be raised during the match or within 5 minutes after completion.
- The timer will be paused only for claims and/or fouls, at the discretion of the organizers.
- The organizers’ decision will be final in all matters.
Bonus Points:
- PAC BOT Bonus: Successfully entering a halt zone earns bonus points and temporarily disables the assigned GHOST BOT.
- GHOST BOT Bonus: The GHOST BOT that captures the PAC BOT in the shortest time will receive additional points.
Fouls:
- Collision Between GHOST BOTS: If the two GHOST BOTS hit each other during the round.
- Player Violation: Players operating the bots must not place their foot inside the maze or walk into it.
- Teaming Up: Communication or teaming up between the two GHOST BOTS to catch the PAC BOT is strictly prohibited.
- Maze Collision: If any bot hits the walls of the maze.
- Halt Violation: A GHOST BOT must stop when the PAC BOT reaches its assigned halt location. Failure to stop will result in a foul.
- Exiting the Maze: Any bot moving out of the maze.
Event Duration:
- Event will take place from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Who Can Participate:
- The event is open to school and college students who are interested in robotics, gaming, and competitive technical challenges. Beginners and experienced teams are both welcome.
