About Parivartan:
Parivartan is a national-level case study competition organized by ECHO - The CSR Club of IIM Sambalpur. We strive to create a positive impact and give back to society through various initiatives while making future corporate leaders more aware and sensitizing them toward their duties to the community. It aims to actively participate in helping and supporting the underprivileged, contribute to their empowerment and upliftment, and make them self-dependent. ECHO and the whole IIM Sambalpur family with all their efforts aim to achieve its goals and make apparent differences across various levels.
Guidelines:
- Participating teams can have one to three members from the same institute.
- There is no limit on the number of teams participating from one institute. A student can be part of only one team.
- Only MBA students are allowed to participate. Executive program students are not eligible to register.
- Modification of team post registration will not be allowed.
- ECHO – The CSR Club of IIM Sambalpur reserves the right to check the validity of the registration information submitted at any time. Any deviation from the above guidelines will result in the disqualification of the entire team.
Rules:
- Round 1 Rules:
- Every registered participant will attempt 20 questions in 12 minutes.
- Only the team leader can attempt the first round.
- Students will be ranked based on their scores and finish time. This means, if two students have the same score, then the student who finishes earlier will be ranked higher.
- Participating students will move on to the next round based on their performance in the assessment.
- Round 2 Rules:
- Shortlisted teams will be given four days to prepare a case presentation and submit their results.
- The case presentation must be in PPT format with a maximum of 3 slides. Animations are not allowed.
- Teams are advised to follow the guidelines strictly.
- Teams are advised to submit their entries a few hours before the deadline to avoid last-minute hassles.
- Round 3 Rules:
- The final round will be offline.
- The addition of 2 more slides is allowed.
- The time limit for the presentation will be 5-7 minutes, excluding questions from panelists.
- Organizers’ Decisions will be Final.

About Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur
Situated in the midst of slopes and waterways, the transitory grounds of IIM Sambalpur is working in a cutting edge structures at the Jyoti Vihar, Burla – the instruction center containing the Sambalpur University, and first class Medical and Engineering University. The characteristic excellence of the wildernesses, stream bed and dam itself would without a doubt not let down the birdwatcher and creature sweethearts.
The grounds is encompassed by enormous number of large ventures, for example, MCL, HINDALCO, Vedanta, TATA'S, NTPC, L&T and so on which give openings on genuine experiential learning for understudies of IIM Sambalpur.
