Introduction:

Welcome to the Ideathon at Plinth 2025, LNMIIT's annual techfest! This competition offers participants the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas across various industries to industry-specific experts and potential investors. With a diverse panel of angel investors, PhDs, and MBA executives, this event is your gateway to securing seed funding, mentorship, and special awards to bring your idea to life.

Guidelines:

• Participation:
  • Teams can consist of 1 to 5 members.
  • Participants from different institutions can collaborate.
• Industry Categories:
  • Participants must submit their ideas under one of the following industries (for idea alignment purposes only, judges will not be strictly assigned by industry):
    • Technology & IT
    • Healthcare & Biotechnology
    • Renewable Energy & Sustainability
    • Education & EdTech
    • Finance & FinTech
    • Agriculture & AgriTech
    • Logistics & Supply Chain
    • Social Impact & Public Welfare
    • Consumer Products & Retail

Rules:

• Eligibility: Open to all college & school students.
• Industry Focus: Participants must clearly state their industry and align their idea accordingly.
• Deadlines: Submissions and presentations must adhere to deadlines.
• Integrity: Plagiarized or previously pitched ideas without proper ownership will lead to disqualification.

Gameplay:

Round 1: Online Screening:

• Mode: Online
• Date: January 5, 2024
• Details: Submit your pitch deck and executive summary, specifying your chosen industry. Submissions will be reviewed, and shortlisted teams will advance to the next round.

Round 2: Semi-Finals:

• Mode: On-Campus (LNMIIT)
• Date: January 24, 2024
• Details: Teams will present their ideas to a jury panel of experts, including angel investors, PhDs, and MBA executives. Presentations will last 10 minutes, followed by a Q&A session. Top teams will move to the finals.

Round 3: Finals:

• Mode: On-Campus (LNMIIT)
• Date: January 25, 2024
• Details: Finalists will refine their ideas and deliver polished pitches to investors and experts. Ideas will be evaluated for funding potential, scalability, and impact.
