Pitch Perfect 3.0: Stages and Timelines
Online Shortlisting
Participants must submit a pitch deck (maximum 7 slides) along with a short pitch video before 18th January. Submissions will be evaluated on clarity, originality, feasibility, and overall pitch quality. Based on these criteria, the top 8–10 teams will be shortlisted for the on-campus final round.
On-Campus Live Pitching Round
Shortlisted teams will present their startup ideas in front of a panel of judges through a 5-minute live pitch followed by a 2-minute Q&A session. Final rankings will be decided solely based on performance in this round, considering clarity, feasibility, presentation structure, and responses during the interaction with the judges.

About the Event:
- Pitch Perfect is a startup pitching competition designed to evaluate how effectively participants present, explain, and defend their business ideas. The event emphasizes clarity, structure, feasibility, and confidence in pitching. It aims to promote entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and real-world problem-solving by providing participants a platform to showcase their startup ideas before experienced judges and mentors.
Event Structure & Process:
Round 1: Online Shortlisting Round
Participants must submit:
- A Pitch Deck
- A Short Pitch Video
Submissions will be evaluated based on clarity, originality, feasibility, and overall pitch quality. Based on this evaluation, the top 8–10 teams will be shortlisted for the final on-campus round.
Round 2: On-Campus Live Pitch (Final Round)
Shortlisted teams will pitch live before a panel of judges:
- 5 minutes – Live Pitch
- 2 minutes – Q&A Session
Final rankings will be decided solely based on performance in this round.
Eligibility:
- Open to students and early-stage founders
- Participation can be individual or in teams
- Maximum 4 members per team
- One participant can be part of only one team
- Cross-year and cross-specialisation teams are allowed, while inter-college teams are not permitted
Submission Guidelines:
Pitch Deck Requirements:
- Maximum 7 slides
- Must include:
- Problem Statement
- Solution (Product/Service)
- Target Market
- Business Model
- Competitive Advantage
- Financial Projections (if available)
- Team Overview
Pitch Video Requirements:
- A short video explaining the startup idea
- The video must be shared as a Google Drive link
- The Drive link must be embedded or attached on the first page of the pitch deck
- Access settings must be set to “Anyone with the link can view”
- Submissions with restricted access or inaccessible links will not be evaluated
- Clear audio and video quality is mandatory
Submission Deadline:
- Before 20th January
- Late submissions will not be accepted
Rules:
- Each participant must possess valid E-Summit passes

- Teams must strictly adhere to time limits
- No changes to the pitch deck after submission
- One person can be part of only one team
- Judges’ decisions will be final and binding
- The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify teams for rule violations
Originality & Ethics:
- All ideas must be original
- Plagiarism or copied content will result in immediate disqualification
- Offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited
Judging Criteria:
- Clarity of pitch
- Understanding of the problem and relevance of the solution
- Feasibility and logic of the idea
- Structure and presentation flow
- Responses during Q&A
- Overall pitch delivery
Rewards & Recognition:
- Cash prizes for the Top 3 teams
- Mentorship opportunities with judges and industry experts
- Certificates of participation for all participants
General Conditions:
- The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the event format if required
- All updates will be communicated in advance
- Participants are expected to maintain professionalism throughout the event
