About:
- Founded in 2023 by Ankit Agarwal (MBA 2016, Harvard Business School) and Varun Limaye (MBA 2020, Kellogg School of Management) and backed by Elevation Capital, Mesa is India's first startup-focused business school. We aim to nurture the next generation of leaders, operators, and investors in the Indian startup ecosystem.
- In our second year, we welcomed ~110 young professionals to our immersive 12-month Postgraduate Program in Startup Leadership (PGP-SL). Our students learn from distinguished faculty from global business schools and over 200 industry practitioners, gaining hands-on expertise in building and scaling businesses from the ground up. This approach offers unparalleled mentorship and access to the startup ecosystem.

The Pitching Challenge: Nurture Your School’s Entrepreneurial Talent
The High School Pitching Challenge is a 2-day competition that brings together the brightest, entrepreneurial minds from India's top schools. We have planned an action-packed event where India’s best high-school entrepreneurs meet with India’s most successful founders, and pitch directly to a Mystery Shark Tank Judge and win up to Rs 20,00,000.
Roadmap of the challenge:
- Students fill out the form: 30th March, 2025
- Once a student confirms their participation in the event, more information will be shared about the logistics in the following email
- Students can participate in teams or individually
- Each student will have to share a 2-minute pitch video in order to be shortlisted for the competition
- Students submit the Pitch Video: 10th April, 2025
- In order to prep for the pitch video, Mesa will share a tool kit with all registered schools to share with students
- Top pitches are shortlisted: 14th April, 2025
- A panel of startup leaders & experts will shortlist the best pitch videos
- Shortlisted students will be invited to the Mesa Campus to be part of the 2-day startup immersion.
- Touchdown at Mesa Campus (Day 1): 19th April, 2025
- Travel will have to be arranged by students, food & accommodation will be provided by Mesa.
- Students will get to attend workshops, mock pitch sessions & other sessions that will help them perfect their pitch
- The Pitch Arena (Day 2): 20th April, 2025
- Knockout rounds are conducted to choose the top 10 teams to present
- Students present directly to India’s most influential entrepreneurs and unicorn founders
- Top 5 teams win cash prizes amounting to Rs 20,00,000
- All participants get a participation certificate
