Plutus- Lets talk Money!: Stages and Timelines
Round 1
This would be an elimination quiz round testing your finance knowledge.
Round 2
Congratulations on making it to round 2. The competition now involves coming up with a start-up idea and preparing an investor's pitch. All the qualifying teams will have to prepare and submit a 3 slider preliminary PowerPoint presentation explaining their ideas briefly(excluding title and thank you slides). This document must include the main idea, reason(s) for selecting the idea, future growth prospects in terms of financials. Each team has to keep in mind that they are supposed to propose a “Creative and Unique Business Idea” that serves the community by solving any consumer problem targeting a valuation of 100 Cr for your Start-up.
Round 3
The teams that qualify to the Final Round of PLUTUS will have to prepare a 7 slider PowerPoint Presentation (Excluding Title and Thank You Slide) which has to be presented within 10 Mins to the judges of the competition over Zoom. The presentation may include items such as resources management, financial models, market / competitor analysis and short term and long-term financial goals of the Company. Any assumptions if taken into consideration by the team can be addressed in the pitch itself. The teams are free to use their own creativity to add any more details in their Pitch Deck. Please adhere strictly time limits (8-10 mins) and prepare well in advance.

Plutus – The Greek god of wealth is often envisaged as blind so that he could dispense his gifts without prejudice.
Plutus is a 'Shark Tank' themed event that attempts to test your business acumen and your ability to pitch your business idea to a panel of investors. The participating teams would have to go through an online quiz followed by an elimination round where they would give a preliminary presentation of their business idea. The teams that make it to the final round will have to pitch their business ideas to our judges focusing on the financial statistics and models. So bring in your ultimate persuasion skills and business mindset to prove your worth to the investors!
