Poster Pitch: Stages and Timelines

Abstract Submission

  • Submit a PDF abstract (max 200 words).
  • Posters must be A1 size (594 x 841 mm) with a clear, minimal text layout using high-resolution visuals.
  • Include Title, Authors' Details, Keywords (3-5), Objective, Key Highlights, Expected Outcome.
  • Right-end placement should have a title, designer details (name, contact, email), and institution name
  • Only hard copies of posters are allowed,  participants must bring printed A1 posters to the venue
  • File name: "PostaPitch_TeamName.pdf".

Poster Requirements

  • Poster Size: A1-size printouts (594 x 841 mm) are required.
  • Recommended Dimensions: A3 (297 x 420 mm) or A1 (594 x 841 mm).
  • Content and Design:
    • Right End Placement: Include the abstract title, designer and co-designer details (name, contact number, and email), and institution name.
    • Layout: Ideas should flow logically from one section to the next.
    • Text: Keep text to a minimum to emphasize visuals.
    • Visuals: Use high-resolution images, charts, and graphs to convey data; avoid large tables of raw data.
    • Font Size: Ensure text is readable from a distance.

Poster Content Guidelines

  • Structure and Focus:
    • Posters should promote technical discussions by focusing on the assigned topics.
    • Maintain simplicity by concentrating on key points and data that support conclusions.
    • Avoid overloading the poster; present only sufficient data for clear conclusions.

Presentation Format

  • Oral Presentation: Participants must deliver a PowerPoint (PPT) speech explaining their poster, covering its technical aspects.
  • Mounting: Participants must mount their posters on the event day.

Event Rules

  • No Soft Copy Allowed: Only hard copies are accepted; participants must bring their A1-size poster printouts.
  • Team Size: Each team can have a maximum of 2 members.
