Product Teardown: A Product Case Competition, Season 7: Stages and Timelines
Round 1
The competition will start with a Concept Session by Product Leaders on How to do Product Teardown with a step-wise step guide. Product Space mentors will be available to help you with any queries or support. Problem Statement will be shared after the Concept Session. As part of this round, you must submit your solution in PPT/PDF format consisting of required content slides excluding introduction & thank you slides. Ideally, you should have up to 10 to 12 slides.
Presentation Demo Day
The top 5 scorers will move on to the next round wherein Product Space Mentors will provide 1-1 feedback to improve their submission. Your team will be invited to showcase their case solutions before industry experts on MS Teams/Zoom, etc.

Welcome to our Product Teardown - A Case Competition! This competition is designed in a unique to first upskill Aspiring Product Enthusiasts and then challenge them to think creatively and strategically about product development and strategy.
Event Details:
- Participants will form teams and analyze a real-life product case provided by the organizers.
- The case will include challenges and opportunities that the product is facing in the current market.
- Teams need to complete tasks including market research, solutions, go-to-market strategy, and product roadmap to develop a thorough product plan for a new or existing product and present their findings to a panel of judges.
- The judges will evaluate the teams' solutions based on factors such as creativity, feasibility, and potential for success.
Rounds:
- In the first round, teams are required to submit their innovative solutions keeping in mind the parameters specified in the case problem.
- In the second round, the top 5 solutions need to be presented before our esteemed panel of industry experts.
Rewards:
- Cash Prizes and in-kind prizes:
- Winner: Rs. 3000 per team, 1-1 Portfolio & resume review worth Rs. 1000 per team member, Free Access to Tech for PM sessions (worth Rs. 3000), Placement Assistance, Product Space vouchers worth Rs. 7500 per team member
- Runner-Up: Rs. 2000 per team, Placement Assistance, Product Space vouchers worth Rs. 6250 per team member
- Top 5: Vouchers worth Rs. 5000 per team member
- Scoring a minimum of 70% is mandatory to win the cash prize
- Interview Opportunities: Winners get access to DIRECT interview opportunity
- Placement assistance: The top 2 teams get placement support which includes resume review, portfolio building session & 1-1 Mock interview with Product Leaders

Guidelines and Rules:
- A group has to consist of 1-2 people only
- A participant can be a part of only one team
- Modification of the team cannot be done post-registration
- There is no restriction on the number of teams
- Any violations of the above rules may result in immediate disqualification
- The decision of the organizers will be final and binding for all participants
