This is an MCQ based round-work through the sheets in Excel, uncover the insights, and submit your answers through a google form. Speed and accuracy will decide who advances. Operation Turnaround
This will be a case-based visualization challenge! Participants must analyze the dataset, identify areas where the rival is outperforming, uncover hidden issues within the company, and present strategic recommendations through compelling visuals, KPIs, and insights. Teams qualifying for Round 2 should submit a presentation deck by the end of 23rd September, 2025.
Operation Turnaround - Presentation
All teams submitting a presentation will present their complete analysis through compelling data visualizations, key insights, and strategic recommendations. Each team must showcase how they decoded the data, identified business gaps, and built a winning strategy. Judges will evaluate on clarity, depth of analysis, storytelling, and impact.

Quantinuum presents "Quantiz" – a platform where data meets strategy. Numbers aren’t the challenge; it’s how you think with them that creates solutions. This event is designed to test analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and presence of mind through data-driven challenges.
Eligibility:
- Open to all students of SVU (UG, PG, etc.).
- Team size: 2–3 members.
- One participant cannot be part of more than one team.
- Inter-college teams are also allowed.
- Only students of SVU are eligible to participate.
- Final decisions rest solely with the Quantinuum Committee.
Rules & Guidelines:
- The event consists of 2 rounds.
- Round 1 is an elimination round.
Total Prize Pool:
- Rs. 28,000
Round 1: “The Infiltration”
- Task: Make quick and accurate business decisions using data analysis.
- Dataset and instructions will be provided on the designated platform.
- Tools: Participants may use any analysis tool of their choice.
- Submission: Answers must be submitted via a Google Form based on dataset insights.
- Criteria: Accuracy and time efficiency will determine qualification.
Round 2: “Operation Turnaround”
- Task: Create a compelling visual narrative from the given dataset.
- Submission: Charts, graphs, and visuals that build a clear and coherent storyline.
- Goal: Uncover key insights and present them effectively and creatively.
- Requirements: Participants must ensure access to necessary visualization tools.
- Criteria: Judged on quality of insights, creativity, clarity, and storytelling.
Final Presentation: “Operation Turnaround – Presentation”
- Teams will present their complete analysis and strategic recommendations live to a panel of judges.
- Focus: Deliver impactful insights through strong storytelling and visualizations.
Judging Parameters:
- Depth of analysis
- Relevance and feasibility of recommendations
- Quality of data visualizations
- Communication, clarity, and presentation style
Outcome:
The winning team will be crowned as the Quantiz Champions.
