The competition will feature offline rounds, where participants must be present at the designated venue to compete.

RC Car Racing Championship – Official Rulebook

General Rules

  • Team Size: 2-4 participants per team.
  • Weight Limit: Maximum allowable RC car weight is 6 kg.
  • Size Compliance: RC cars must strictly adhere to the weight and size requirements outlined in the event rulebook.
  • Wireless Operation: Cars must be operated using a standard transmitter-receiver system (wireless control only).
  • Power Source: Only battery-powered vehicles are allowed; fuel-based engines are strictly prohibited.
  • Car Usage: Each team is permitted to use only one RC car.
  • Custom Build Requirement:
    • Readymade or commercially available RC cars are not allowed.
    • All cars must be custom-built by the team.
  • Race Track Design:
    • The track will feature jumps, rough and inclined terrain, sand pits, and tight turns to challenge the RC cars.

Race Format

  • Head-to-Head Races: RC cars will compete against each other in designated race rounds.
  • Competition Details: The specific race format and round structure will be revealed to participants on the day of event.

Technical Specifications

Dimensional Specifications

  • Maximum Length: 55 cm
  • Maximum Width: 30 cm
  • Maximum Height: 30 cm (with fully compressed suspension)
  • Motors: Both sensor-based and sensorless electric motors are allowed.

Radio Equipment

  • Allowed Channels: Only two channels (for steering and throttle servos).
  • Frequency: 2.4 GHz DSM/DSS or any permitted frequency (teams must notify transmission details in advance).
  • Restrictions:
    • No advanced radio features beyond standard control/trimming.
    • No frequency swapping using transmitter/receiver crystals.
    • Traction control systems are not allowed.

Tyres

  • Modification Restriction: Cutting tyres to fit different wheels is prohibited.

Battery

  • Maximum Voltage: 24V (across any two points).

Transmission & Drive

  • Allowed Configurations:
    • 2WD or 4WD drive systems
