The Pitcher
The candidate with an early stage ideation type or a prototype plus funding stage start-ups will be submitting a pitch deck (.pptx format) as part of their registration.
Results for the round will be published by 7th April EOD.
The Finale
After passing the above hurdles, candidates will be presenting their valuable start-up at the BITS Pilani Campus where candidates will be giving an extensive pitch for your product or service and also go through an intensive Q&A round. The qualified start-ups will then receive exciting prizes and guidance from the esteemed panelists.
All that you need to know about SAMADHAAN
Samadhaan is a Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition organized by NSS BITS Pilani, is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and receive mentorship from experienced panelists and innovators. The participants will present their ideas to a panel of judges, who will select the winners based on the impact of their ideas and their potential to create sustainable social enterprises. The winners will receive guidance to help them bring their ideas to life by the esteemed panelists. We believe that this competition can inspire the next generation of social entrepreneurs and create a positive impact on society.
Guidelines of The Event:
- Each team must consist of 1-4 members.
- The team leader of the team will remain the single point of contact for the competition.
- A participant can register only in one team; multiple entries are not allowed.
- Team members can be from different programs and Institutes.
- The idea must be innovative and original.
- Teams should strictly adhere to the time limit allotted by the panel.
Round 1 (31st Mar – 6th April) - The Pitcher:
The team with prototype plus stage start-ups will be submitting a pitch deck (.pptx format) along with the questionnaire provided below as part of their registration.
The candidates need to highlight the following in their pitch deck:
- Problem statement
- Solution/product offering
- Revenue model/business model
- Market size
- USP
- Team brief - background
- Valuation, potential revenue & other financials
We suggest limiting the number of slides to 9, excluding the introduction and annexures. The evaluation will be based on their uniqueness, feasibility, and scalability. The deadline for the submission round is 6th April, 23:59 hours, and results will be declared by 7th April. The shortlisted teams for round 2 would be informed via email.
Round 2 (12th April) - The Finale:
Now the startups will have the opportunity to present their pitch in the main event (offline). During this presentation, the teams will have the chance to pitch your product or service extensively to our esteemed panel of industry experts and answer questions in an intensive Q&A session.
