Schneider Electric is celebrating 10 years of Schneider Go Green with the 2020 edition of one of the globe's largest student innovation challenges.

Empowering students to speak up on their bold ideas to impact the world and reshape the energy industry!

With a global presence in over 100 countries, Schneider Electric is paving a path of innovation for sustainability within the industry.

More than 80,000 students from 180 countries have participated over the last 9 years, now it’s time to take your turn for the 10th anniversary to create disruptive energy management and automation solutions making sure #LifeisOn everywhere, for everyone, at every moment.

How to begin representing your region:

  1. Register on the main challenge platform: http://bit.ly/SchneiderGoGreen_IndiaEvents
  2. Go to your university’s region and click the “Participate” button to create or join your 2-member team
  3. Submit your (max. 500 words) written proposal or 10-slide PPT on one of the four major themes.

Eligibility:

  • Teams must consist of two members.
  • At least one team member must be female.
  • Participants must be proficient in English.
  • Participants must be from the same region e.g. Greater India.
  • Participants must be studying in university; 1st year bachelor's students are ineligible.

The Four Themes:

  1. Sustainability and Access to Energy: Digitize our business and enable access to energy or sustainable developments.
  2. Buildings of The Future: Can buildings be smarter, more sustainable and incorporate new technologies?
  3. Plants of The Future: Apply IoT, AI, Machine Learning and more to the industries of the present or future.
  4. Grids of The Future: Imagine the future of energy management and distribution!
