ServiceNow Women Code to Win 2024 - India: Stages and Timelines
This is the entry level to the ServiceNow Women Code to Win Contest, where participants will be evaluated based on their technical and coding skills. All participants will have 90 minutes to solve 2 coding questions with varying difficulty levels. The coding round can be attempted at any time within the 8-hour window. The team's score will the be the cumulative score of all individual team members.
Level 2 - Ideathon
All the shortlisted teams from Level 1 will be assigned specific themes along with corresponding problem statements. Additionally, students also have the flexibility to choose their own unique problem statement within the assigned themes. It is expected to submit the idea along with the functional and basic technical design of the idea for the chosen problem statement. Teams can capture the technical and functional aspects of the idea proposed in the form of a PPT / Word document format. Each student team will come live before the panel team and will have 15 minutes to answer questions from the panel.

Level 3.1 – Prototype Building and Mentoring Sessions
This is where your ideas take shape. Your shortlisted idea from Level 2 must be developed into a functioning prototype for final presentations to the jury. Subject matter experts from ServiceNow will guide your team with valuable inputs to create a working model during four mentorship sessions.
Level 3.2 – Finale Presentations/Offline Round
Contest finalists will be treated to an all-expenses-paid trip to the ServiceNow Hyderabad Office to experience a grand finale presentation.Teams will present their application to the judging panel, providing details about the features they have built based on their submitted idea.

Rules and Regulations:
Please ensure to follow the guidelines and teams/members failing to comply with the guidelines will be disqualifies to participate.
Entry Criteria:
- Team based participation only- This challenge is a team-based participation and requires the team members participating to comply with the below listed criteria to enter the challenge.
- All Participants must be:
- Women
- Should currently be enrolled as a full-time student at a College/University in India
- Should be Indian Nationals
- Should be graduating in the year 2024, 2025, 2026 or 2027 (for Integrated programs)
- Degree: Bachelors / Master’s in Engineering / MCA / M. Sc.
- Branch: No restrictions
- CGPA: No restrictions
Team Formation:
- Identify your team and your team leader.
- All Team members must independently meet the entry criteria.
- The team size can only have 3 students.
- Teams are to be formed with students only from the same college.
- A student cannot be a member of multiple teams.
- Modification of team members after registration is not allowed.
- No alteration to team size post-registration
- Team members who compete in the hackathon must participate throughout the event.
- Teams that have dropouts in team members at any stage/during the contest will be disqualified.
Group A:
- Team of women students graduating in 2024
- No mix-up of team members from other graduating years
Group B:
- Team of women students graduating in 2025/2026 or 2027 (for integrated dual degree programmes)
- Can have a mix-up of team members but only with team members who are graduating in 2025, 2026 or 2027.
Verification:
- ServiceNow and Unstop have the right to verify your eligibility. You agree to provide Unstop/ServiceNow with any proof of eligibility requested by Unstop/ServiceNow and your refusal/ failure to submit may result in disqualification of the team’s participation.
Registration:
- Team leaders for respective teams should take the lead in filling out the ServiceNow Women Code to Win registration form.
- Teams can choose to have a team name that is neutral without containing any offensive/vulgar language and not violate any intellectual property rights of others.
- Please ensure only one registration per team and follow the guidelines given.
- Registrations close by 19th January 2024, 11:59 PM IST.
Communications:
- All communications will be sent to the primary email ID of the team/ team leader.
- While registering please use your college email ID as the primary email ID and personal email ID as the secondary email ID
- Test links for Level 1 will be sent to all individual members of the team.

Competition Levels:
Level 1 – Coding Assessment:
- This is the entry level to the ServiceNow Women Code to Win Contest, where participants will be evaluated based on their technical and coding skills.
- Participants will have 90 minutes to solve 2 coding questions with varying difficulty levels.
- The coding round can be attempted at any time within the 8-hour window.
- Participants are free to code in their preferred programming language.
- Ranking is based on Accuracy, Speed (Time Taken), and Start Time. In case of tied scores, the participant who started and finished earlier will be ranked higher.
- All team members will be required to attempt this round individually.
- The team's cumulative test scores will be used for ranking in subsequent rounds.
Level 2 – Ideathon Round:
- This level will challenge the student teams on their creative thinking, problem-solving and design thinking skills!
- Each student team will be assigned specific themes along with corresponding problem statements. Additionally, students also have the flexibility to choose their own unique problem statement within the assigned themes.
- It is expected to submit the idea along with the functional and basic technical design of the idea for the chosen problem statement.
- Teams can capture the technical and functional aspects of the idea proposed in the form of a PPT / Word document format.
- Each student team will come live before the panel team and will have 15 minutes to answer questions from the panel.
- The shortlisted teams from this round will be advancing to the next round.
Level 3.1 – Prototype Building and Mentoring Sessions:

- Teams will present their application to the judging panel, providing details about the features they have built based on their submitted idea.
- Results will be announced on the same day.

- Fireside Chat with ServiceNow Women Leaders : Thursday, 4th Jan’24 | 6:00PM – 7:00PM IST – An interactive session with Women leaders from ServiceNow. Students can attend this session to learn about ServiceNow, culture and Career opportunities. To register, click here.
Office Hours with ServiceNow team: An interactive session with ServiceNow contest team to help participating students’ network with ServiceNow team, understand about the Hackathon, and clarify any doubts they might have regarding the contest.
